Stacking isn't the problem, but making them uncrittable is. Now every other class will have access to this immunity making it more prevalent for the next 5 months.
I agree shields should be crittible, as for sorcerers their main issue is lack of self healing, its why many use shield stacking because they would get one shotted without it.
Dark exchange needs to restore more health or becomes instant instead of having a cast time considering the effect of its cost is limited to the stamina bar.
The rest of sorcerers self healing requires to be on both weapon bars. The fact is the current design of sorcerers got broken long ago and ZoS constant failed attempts at not listening have really messed this class up.
Abilities that need to be on all weapon bars to keep up is a very cumbersome system on top of very limited abilities for builds. They don't have instant DPS and need constant setting up on RNG before they can issue out proper damage.
@Wrobel needs to listen or this game will get out of control in PvE when this patch goes live.
Sick of these tug of war combat changes where they focus on one and buff it to extreme till they focus on the other.
Combat gameplay doesn't need month's for adjustments. They should be constant.

And done! then everybody can adjust to their play style pvp or pve no more nerfing or whining , you are ok with 6 sec fine that works for you not for everybody else spend CP points in something else , we need 15-20 sec for pve not a problem we will just invest in new bastion skill. ( or some other skill so in order to get that 20 sec we need to remove CP from something else ect )

I like the idea of using Champion skills to lengthen the Shield duration. I do not like the starting duration to be 6 seconds. A lot of PvE fights take a lot longer than that and since Shields cost so much you either need to have some kind of boosted recovery, or your pool will drain very quickly. I just unlocked Sun Shield on my lvl36 Templar and the six second duration is appalling, almost even not worth it.

Shields pop just as fast on tanks in PVE. Tried a REAL PVE heavy armour 35k magicka sorc out the other night... The shield lasted about 2 seconds in non vet banished cells. Disgraceful.
Back to OP with the changes to shields coming now MINUS any cost reduction, you might as well take them off your bar except for entering trash mobs. Your suggestions are great, constantly suggested by others, but great. The problem is the devs don't play the game like we do so they can't see the error of these changes.
Please ZoS stop catering for PVP in PVE: they are not the same. Your slackness only hurts the game.
Just make them crittable so I can kill you faster with wrecking blow. I don't care about pvp balance I just want to kill everything with wrecking blow.
