To bring down the severs on a Friday evening. I don't give a *** if there is a exploit. Fix it later on non prime times. Good dam thing I'm not paying a monthly sub.

I can see how inconvenient it must be to have the servers come down at prime time for exploiters, far better to bring them down when there aren't many exploiters around.

Seriously, an exploit is discovered and a fix is then developed. Once it's been fully tested so as to ensure it doesn't fix one problem and create another dozen problems, then the servers come down and not moment too soon regardless of the time. The sooner the servers are fixed the sooner the staff can get to work on identifying the exploiters and dealing with them.
