3 small consecutive freezes

I'm having this issue for quite some time now (not since I started playing though), and I wanted to ask if anyone else has it because I'm trying to determine whether it's a server issue or an Internet Service Provider one.
Sometimes I get 3 consecutive freezes that last about a second each, and are placed about a second apart. After each freeze, the game plays in a kind of fast forward, to catch up with real time, so to speak. Does this happen to anyone else?
This happens in both PVE and PVP. It's very frustrating in general, but especially in dungeons, since I'm a healer and a 1-second freeze can mean someone's death, let alone 3.

This sounds like Lag. You did not mention what platform you are on, but is anyone latched onto your Router that is streaming video from Netflix or similar? If this is PC, have you checked for any recently installed apps that load themselves into the background that could be causing issues?
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

realize314✭✭Sorry, I'm on PC. We are 2 people on the same router, but the other PC is doing very little activity, nothing demanding like streaming. Also, I forgot to mention a friend of mine faces the exact same issue (we have the same ISP so I can't rule that out yet). As for the ISP, try this, do a continuous ping to Level 3, they are in the same part of the country that the server farm is located (at least the last time I checked, with Amazon Web Services, they servers could be anywhere in the world really)
Any way, open the command prompt (cmd in the Run or Search box on the start menu)
ping -t 4.2.2.1
Let it run for a couple hundred pings and then stop it. See if you notice any packet loss, it will calculate a percentage. If you do, there is an issue somewhere on your network or ISP (probably ISP)
