How frequently should the "Year Ahead" be updated?

halceonrwb17_ESO
The Official Year Ahead Announcement has been an invaluable document for long term players and new players alike to understand the games immediate, mid and long term development intentions.

Although posted in February this year, and I believe January the year before, I would like to see more frequent updates so that the plan identifies the path for a consistent time in advance.

I would like to see 3 monthly regular updates along the lines of:

1 DLC
1.1 Pending DLC: Detailed outline DLC content and main game update
1.2 2nd in line DLC: Outline of DLC content and main game update
1.3 3rd in line DLC: Brief outline of DLC content and main game update
1.4 4th in line DLC: Name only of DLC

2 Events Calendar
2.1 Calendar of Planned ESO Events

3 Main Game Update
3.1 Certain things being worked on with an actual timeline
3.2 General things being worked on with a probably timeline
3.3 Nice to have things being considered with a note of no current timeline

How frequently do you think the "Year Ahead" should be updated and reposted?
How much detail acceptable for your expectation of the post?

Back when the game was pay to play they posted monthly "road ahead" articles about things they were working on and what to expect in the next content updates.

Then the buy to play conversion happened and they stopped doing them, only doing the "year ahead" earlier this year. I can imagine we can expect to see another article like that after the Dark Brotherhood is released as they talked a lot about the DLC's up through that one in this year's Year Ahead so maybe a mid year update about what to look forward to for the rest of the year? I wouldn't expect anything else until then since they save content updates and upgrades for the content patches.

I think the year ahead should be...once a year

There should be other communications quarterly and monthly as things occur. Leading up to a release...weekly so for this company

Quarterly at a min and then 3 weeks prior to new content, weekly until one week after

It's gonna be a lot but they committed to a 4 DLC a year roll out

The 'year' ahead should be yearly

That being said, would be nice if at the half way point, they go into further detail for the 2nd half of the year, because usually the year ahead only really talks about the first 1-2 quarters.

1 per year would be absolute minimum if asked from me. But I personally think Zen kind of messed it up, everything could be so much better if they had kept doing monthly road aheads, now people are lost or go figure maybe it was a good plan go to twitch, but not all players watch it, like me. But Ive seen games doing alot better than Zen is doing now.

I'm guessing more than once a year would be good. maybe every two years for PvP.
