EXP Gain for alt characters

One of the few issues i have with ESO is in regard of the replayability of the game because well... once you've actually completed the cadwell gold challenge you will have done all the quests of the game for the whole three alliances area... this means that leveling up an alt character becomes a total pain for me and, even if i'm sure not everyone else feels the same, i'm also sure there are quite a few other players that do.

So i've been thinking.. how could it be possible to actually make this better...

This is what i though.

Every time a new DLC comes into play like Thief Guild or the next Dark Brotherhood one, if the game recognize the "cadwell gold achievement on the account" and ONLY IF THE CADWELL GOLD WAS ALREADY OBTAINED, the exp gained will scale in such a way that whichever character is playing trough that new content and is LESS then lvl 50 (since we're going to have a lvl 50 cap lvl with the DB) the exp gained in that area will be buffed up in such a way that:

- if we start the content with a lvl 4 character (a just made one then) when we finish the main questline for the new area the char will be automatically at lvl cap of 50.
- if a character is less then lvl 50 then killing EXP gained is increased
- when a character gets to lvl 50, even if the questlines are not finished, the exp gained from completion AND kills gets back to the normal amount

This means that:

- players could be able to start new character for the new DLC and get to cap lvl of 50 BEFORE having to go back to the normal, extremly boring, questing forced to do all quests all over again like we kind of are now. This means that if someone, like me, had a TANK as a vet 16 char, he/she could re-roll a "stealth" based char for the DLC and, byt he time he/she has completed the DLC the new char will be leveled up enough (thanks to the CP system) to partecipate in group content thus taking away the boredom of "re-questing" every single time.

- it'll be a sure "encouragment" on buying the DLCs

- it will not "hinder" the usefullness of exp gain scrolls or provisioning receipt because they'll still be useful to keep gaining CP

Of coure this is just an idea of ine so please,,, if you're going to disagree with me do it without hating :)

With DB, they will nerf the "cadwells" time. Now you want them to nerf the mainstory time as well. So that you can make an alt, and don't have to play the game at all???
...and then... complain about how the game has nothing left to do, nothing left to work towards, and how you are quitting and moving on to another game?
Because that is what these ideas are most likely to lead towards...

    No. Just no.

It hardly takes any effort to get through the mainstory... yes, it can be a little boring since you already know everything, but on the other hand, that also makes it faster, since you know exactly where to go, what to do, and the CP from your highend characters will let you breeze through it all. And with the removal of the veteran ranks, once you do get through the mainstory and hit 50, you will be all set at endgame power level, and can play whatever you choose, wherever you want.

There really is no need at all for this...

Yes because forcing a grind on people is the best way to keep the game active! You are a very wise man.

Artificial content such as 3600 levels that overly complicate class balance and the same redundant story lines that we must complete if we want to roll new characters due to the lack of new real content filled DLC is and always will be the most entertaining route for any MMO. All you people who think that you aren't having fun by grinding, well you are just plain wrong. YOU ARE HAVING TONS OF FUN!

Trust me, if you make an alternate character you won't even play that character! What will there be if you don't have your grind!? MADNESS!!

You don't really need to nerf or buff anything, Cadwell's is no longer a requirement to reach end game as champion points are account shared. This essentially means you don't need to finish it more then once to get to end game with your alts.

Obviously if you want skill points or other things, but essentially when you get to 160 champion points your new characters will also get those 160 points as well.

Grind? I have never ever done that in all the nearly two or so years I played ESO. And yes I have eight characters, all in the veteran ranks...

I just play the game, and enjoy the road, while not worrying about any "goal". These champion points? Just an occasional "ding - you got better" reward to make me feel good... and unlike other games, they mean I will never Ever have the problem that next time they raise level cap feel cheated of all the XP I could have earned from all the playing I did while at level cap... I know this has made me very annoyed in other games, other games I no longer play... it never will in ESO, because there will always be champion points earned. Slower rate, yes, not spendable right now, sure, but I -get- something for my efforts, and have fun while doing that.

Clearly you must be doing something wrong, I say!
How else could you come to any such conclusion that not handing you everyothing in the game on a silver platter right off the start must be "forcing people to grind"??

yes, it can be a little boring

That's it.. if you buff the DLC areas up EXP wise then there's no "boring" anymore for a lot of people because your character will reach lvl 50 with a TOTALLY NEW storyline (the DLC one). At the moent we have 2 DLC quest lines, soon to be 3.. that makes for AT LEAST 3 more alts that can be raised up enjoying the game instead of beeing bored to the bone every single step of it and we're going to have even more.

Have never seen a game do what OP suggests. Sure some game has.

They're providing you means for more free XP boost via training when Arab drops. Also, they want to sell scrolls.

Well there are games around that just let you choose to intantly lvl up ypur char to high lvls so that you don'ìt have to "grind" your way trough it again sinec it's kind of recognized that having to do all over again for a lot of players is boring.. i think elsword is one of them? I'll add others if they come to ind.

Just please remember that this suggestion is ONLY for people already having the cadwell gold achievement... so only for people having already done ALL the main quests of the game and is meant as a way to let them achieve an alt character by playing a DIFFERENT story (the DLC one) instead of the ones they have already finished... it would change absolutly nothing for people not having completed all of those quests.
