what will happen to all vet nocp campaigns, like azura. will its be cp0 gear locked, or still cp160 gear but 0 effective cp?

    Bruh....
I want to see ZOS respond to this. @ZOS_GinaBruno or @ZOS_RichLambert

It's exactly the point I was raising to others why ZOS should have never tried to move VR to CP.

It's why VR removal should have meant level 50 player characters and lvl 50 gear requirements for all VR gear.

Just let CP apply the same Passives and let gear progression continue via mats. Let NPCs be 49-56 and gear drop in that same progression of the tiers of VR using the NPC numerical.

    Question #2

How do you scale dungeons in group finder to 160 CP?

do you remove CP applied for those above and give temp CP to those with 0 -160 for a run?

This is a whole big mess lacking forethought.

You won't be able to use CP, your current CP level willl be based on your current CP; So you can use whatever gear you want to your level. You just cannot use CP in Azura's just the same as it is on live logically i think..

Logically if CP is a level, gear requirement and a passive then none should be allowed technically.
    That's why it's done wrong.

The No CP campaign let in VR 16s in VR16 gear before, it just disabled the passives. Same should apply now.

    In DB, VR is gone.
CP is here and for ZOS only knows, they merged VR and CP so the OP has a good question and I'd like them to answer my question #2 as it was posted in another thread prior to patch notes on PTS.

I don't believe because Vr16 was allowed that the response is, that gear stays because technically that is now CP required gear. The problem eliminated in non CP campaigns were the Passives AND having existing levels scaled to Vr16 stats but not giving them VR16 gear too.

That defeats the whole point of no CP and the goal of scaling. See all players will have the stat and skill points of a base vr16 but the gear ....I can see that argument coming now that VR was moved to CP instead of level 50. It seems like just arguing to argue but the no CP has to mean something more than Passives which is why scaling was done in a certain way

Same applies to dungeons too but it's different when supporting each other.

It's why I really pushed for no cp on gear and stuff

It matters because VR4 or VR10 could now grab much higher gear per character and jump into that campaign which should be 10-49 player with no cp
And player level 50 with no CP

The CP determines the gear we can equip outside the campaign so if it's a no CP campaign, why should it give previous non Vr16 players VR 16 gear.

It offer imbalance which these campaigns sought to prevent by keeping players at actual level.
Allowing this removes half of the balance in place.

It took over a year before they dropped VR so I think that they have thought it though by now. I at least am very happy that they dropped VR. I do not have time to level all my arts though all the Vet levels. With the upcoming change I can switch between my healer, night blade and werewolf while playing with my friends. Instead of only one of them which is the highest level.

Zo thank you ZOS for saving me days of grinding which I have done before.

But they didn't drop it at all.
Basically they just removed gear restrictions and have all chars stat and skill points.
No idea why it took a year as it's literally something they could of done when it was first thought up in 2014

Really I thought they dropped it. So that you drop back to level 50. Which sounds like solves all the problems

They didn't but I don't think that would solve all problems but it doesn't create new ones. If nothing changes if expect a lot of complaint and feedback threads at DB release
