We need a better way to find people to trade items with. Some way to post an item, style motif etc - stating what you're willing to trade for it or post items wanted with what you have to trade. Better then just typing and retyping in zone chat wtt...

I've been carrying around multiple recipes for Psijic Ambrosia and need recipe#2 can't find it.
Also need glass jack motif if anyone is willing to trade let me know, please.

What do people think of a trading house or something - different from guild. Where anyone (individual) can post?

There's a good reason we don't have a 'trading house'. The reason is that, when we first started the game, there were tons of gold-sellers that were spamming everything and gobbling up all the resources so that they could make real world money off of selling things. When we instituted the guild stores, most of the gold-sellers found that it wasn't profitable for them to continue their subscriptions, and it made it easier to close them down. Keeping the auctioning to the guild stores helps keep the gold-sellers from being profitable, and thus allows the game to be much more 'fun' and less 'busywork' just to get ahead. You aren't having to fight for every precious resource like you might have had to when the gold-sellers were around. Having played through that time period, I was astounded at how fast implementing the guild-stores solved the gold-sellers problem. It was a unique solution, and had pretty amazing results.

I wasn't talking about gold. Just trading one item for another. eg style motifs. I have several motifs for the same thing eg glass axes. I would like to it for a glass breastplate motif. Right now the only way is to SPAM chat with wtt... I just thought they could come up with a better way. Can never find someone to trade with.
