The Dark Brotherhood was founded over 200 years before the events of this game takes place? 2E 358, whereas we're in 2E 582

2E 583 Events of Elder Scrolls Online take place

2E 358 Dark brotherhood founding aka Morag Tong, link for both below

    ESO: http://www.ign.com/wikis/elder-scrolls-online/Elder_Scrolls_Timeline

    DBH: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Brotherhood

So they where around at this time though most likely not as widely known or feared as other tes games. And DLC is anything that you must download a large update to experience. some items are in the game already others are to be added. so yes all the DLCs thus far are DLCs. expansions are the even larger counterpart to DLC, where update simply changes or adds minor things.

I've read that the Dark Brotherhood was formed after the Morag Tong, in between the events of Morrowind and Oblivion. What the hell was I reading?

    Probably a misinformed/inaccurate site, or someone's lies.

It doesn't help that there's barely anything on what they did so it could easily be left out. And I don't know why I was thinking of the name Morag "Tor".

But still my main point was, shouldn't it be Morag Tong? Since it was bigger then The Dark Brotherhood at the time.

    Not necessarily.

From "Fire and Darkness: The Brotherhoods of Death":
When the Morag Tong assassinated the Emperor Reman in the year 2920 of the first era, and his successor, Potentate Versiduae-Shaie in the 324th year of the second era, the assassins so long in the shadows were suddenly thrust into the light. They had become brazen, drunk with murder, literally painting the words 'MORAG TONG' on the wall in the Potentate's blood.

The Morag Tong was instantly and unanimously outlawed in all corners of Tamriel, with the exception of its home province of Morrowind. There they continued to operate with the blessings of the Houses, apparently cutting off all contact with their satellite brothers to the west. There they continue their quasi-legal existence, accepting black writs and murdering with impunity.

By the time of the Planemeld, Morag Tong's power has waned and is restricted mostly to Morrowind. Meanwhile, their offshoot called the Dark Brotherhood continues to operate in the west. It makes sense to create a DLC about them.

I see. So another add-on in Daggerfall territory as usual. Unless it somehow ends up being a PvP thing...?
