The ranking system requires no skill at all to be top all u need is to be in a group and let them kill 20 then suicide and return to the start to renew ur quest. Constantly see many players doin this and thus makes the ranking system in place a joke its more just a listing of who is willing to suicide the most and return to the battle to repeat the sequence. While the actual players that are doin all the killing and capturing of the keeps are nowhere near rewarded as well for doin more work. Certainly hope they come up with better system.

A penalty for dying maybe? Maybe armor wears down? but not as much as PvE1 -
babanovac✭✭✭This applies to XP also, not only to AP. Currently the only viable way for exping in PvP is to kill yourself every 20 kills to get the quest rewards. This is just silly. It encourages people to leave the fight. The xp from killing players MUST be increased.
The point of not getting high xp rewards from capturing objectives was so that people don't run in circles capturing them, without defending. This was seen in all the other RvR games out there, and it's a good thing that here it is not rewarded.
But then you have to compensate by giving XP for kills, if you don't give it for objectives captures.
The current system encourages people NOT to fight.1 -
DeceptiveYetiSoul ShrivenOr even lowering the reward for that 1 quest and increasing the amount needed to be killed making u stay in the fight for longer before needing to hand in and prove more useful to ur factions fight. Always see so many mass suicides where the extra 50 players may have helped the defense/offense instead of tryin to head back and renew there quest so they can try get higher ranking which requires no show of skill at all.

babanovac✭✭✭I'm not sure i agree with lowering the rewards for that quest. This quest is currently the only viable way of leveling in PvP. And even so, leveling is reaaally slow, compared to PvE.0

Make it so YOU have to get the kills, as it is now you can just stand near combat, ( you can even be dead ) and still have your kill counter filled up. Also agree with raising the amount of kills required. In a zerg, 20 kills takes all of 85 seconds.0 -

Tiitus✭✭✭✭the kill 20 quest has just been changed to a daily so this is no longer an issue..
altho the ppl that benefited from this quest before the change to make it a daily, are considerably far more ahead than other in gear sets gained from the quest, exp gained from the quest, and pvp currency gained from the quest.Edited by Tiitus on April 2, 2014 3:07PM1 -
