Removal of Veteran Ranks - Will this effect skill points?

Presently when we level from level 1 to V16 we earn a skill point with each level gained. When the veteran ranks are removed, will we lose the skill points we gained from leveling from V2 to V16? (Level 50 and V1 are the same thing.) That's 15 points, which I know in the scheme of things is not that many, but I have a master crafter who has all possible points into all the crafting specialties, and I would feel it if I lost 15 points at present. I don't have all the possible skill points in the game, obviously, so I could always go out and get some more, but still. I would like to know if we're going to lose these skill points.

They're going to double up on some levels between 3-50 and give 2 skillpoints instead of 1, to even out to the same number.

^ Yeah. The most recent proposal is that they will give 2 points for every five levels (5/15/25/35/45) and 3 points for every ten levels (10/20/30/40/50). This exactly counts for the 15 points that come from VR levelling.
