Crafting bags, then you stop Sub'ing - what happens?

Im sure the bag works as just another "bank" just your bank does now. You wont have to deposit mats tho they would just automatically go there. I cannot wait. I keep three or four characters just for storage. I can actually play them again.

Indeed, and it is really cool to play them in a team-manner instead each on their own - synergy effects.

Tell them they'll be able to have some friends as you'll be able to buy additional character slots...

True! You might see an Orc named Mulestuff running around after this comes out, or maybe his brother Muledisguises.

Molag bal grabs you by the mats and tells you he will fly your wares as his banner.

My only concern, as someone who doesn't sub, is that in game increases to bank and bag space wont happen in the future. At present its not an issue for me however each new dlc brings additional items to fill up your inventory with such as style stones, pardons etc. Without increases to bank and bag space eventually this will become a problem that's only solvable by using mules which is far from ideal.

I'm not sure how I feel about the crafting bags being exclusive to ESO plus members.

Bonus exp and gold rates as well as access to the DLC is one thing. But all these things are also available separately with crowns in the crown store.

To be honest, even if they were purchasable in the store I still might not end up getting them, just cause I'm cheap and would rather buy a pretty Guar poor. But having items, with as much impact as these may have, locked behind a subscribtion, doesn't seem like the smartest move. At least if my previous experiences with games' payment models are worth anything.

I'm a sub since Day 1 and am glad to have the bags coming. I hope it is everything that goes under Materials, such as rune stones, traits, etc. My bank will suddenly have a lot more space. And at least it is a subbing benefit that isn't P2W like better gear.

I am pretty certain though, that we will find other "crap" to max out our bank space again - it always happens after a while. When I inherited that guild, I thought "oh 500 slots, that will last me a while" - but no, it didn't, I am always near 500 filled slots. But ok, that is not just me, but my high level guildies dump their stuff, which they do not want anymore, into the guild bank.

So you subscribe to ESO Plus.
    You get your crafting bags.
You fill them bags with all your items.
Then you stop your subscription and log on.
You won't have access to DLC areas, but will have all your gear from there.
But, what happens to your crafting materials in the bags that previously took up bank/ guild bank/ alts inventory slots???

Up to ZOS to mention that in the big patch notes

but guessing: You will only be able to withdraw items and never store back until you resub again.

My guess is is one drops a sub the matts in the bag go into escrow or they are mailed to you. I doubt someone not subbed can withdraw from a bag they do not have.

For me subbing is well worth $15 bucks a month. I get a crown allowance and access to all dlc's but I understand this is not an option for some and I hope ZOS does add the crafting bag to the crown store so everyone can free up some space.

Na.. It won't happen. It's for ESO+ only. It's only $15.. I spend that everyday on my way home from work.

Well I hope they change their minds there is a lot of kids who play this game who's parents aint gonna give them 15 bucks a month for a video game then there are a lot of college kids who play and are tight on money and 15 bucks a month is like a month supply of Ramen noodles! ZoS put it in the crown store make everyone happy and you still make your money ;)

It's good to offer incentive to sub. Those that do not for whatever reason should be pleased they get to play such a fantastic game for free.

Can we get an idea of how big the bags are? I mean come on, if it is only 50 slots for all crafts that is not going to be very good. Maybe 50 slots per craft: 50 for blacksmithing, 50 for alchemy, etc. Would like to see 100 per craft so we can really build up an inventory of mats. Or one big bag of 300 slots or something.

On ESO Live they were referred to as "functionally infinite" in their capacity. I only hope that these are account wide and literally take everything, from flowers to trait stones.

That would be huge, as I have every type of flower, runestone, trait, unfinished mat, and finished mat taking up space, and a lot of them are multiple stacks.

It's very fair. Less fair is, that some players already want to exploit that - just sub for a month, stuff that bag full with mats for a year and then stay unsubbed while still being able to withdraw from the bag. It's just sad, really, either ZOS is trying to milk us or if they are generous, players try to go around the subscription. What does this world have come to.

It would and likewise. I have an entire guild bank dedicated to just Blacksmithing, Woodworking and Clothing supplies that is almost constantly full. Having this moved to my crafting bag means I could free up a guild slot which would be incredible for me.

Would love some more info from @ZOS_GinaBruno or better yet the most rare of posts, a PTS update date..

Don't push them, Once they commit to a specific date, that stuff might get released incomplete and full of bugs again. Give them time to do their stuff and see what will come out of it.

You'll still be able to access your items in the Craft Bag, but won't be able to add any new materials to it.

So... subscribe. Fill the bag up with all my materials and unsubscribe?

    Gotcha.

College kids pay $15.00 when they order Pizza(and they eat more pizza than Ramen these days),and if a parents kids are paying for their internet and it's devices, they'll sure pay another $15.00 for a game. Not a problem.
