Imperial City Banner Boss Bug?

Tholiakke, Guard of the Damned.
Found in the AD side of the Imperial City Sewers. Wields a Mace and Shield.
Between the Light Attacks, Lava Whips, Talons, Reflects, and Fire Breath, he will fire off an ability called Vampiric Totem.
Vampiric Totem summons three lich crystal looking pillars from the ground. They will deal damage over time and snare you when within their radius. Vampiris Totem also provides him with a rather large heal if not destroyed in time before they expire.
However, it also seems they prevent you from weapon swapping when within the radius.... which is making it overly difficult to solo him. Is this intended? It's especially bad when Tholiakke is pressuring you as the bug seems to happen 100% of the time.
I don't believe you ever meant to include this so it must be a bug. It feels somewhat as if there is enormous delay on weapon swap (such as in huge, laggy fights in Cyrodiil) yet the Sewers are empty and there is no lag.
Maybe something to look at in time for Dark Brotherhood? @ZOS_GinaBruno

✭These Vampiric Totems are quite fishy. Apparently every time they tick with their AoE it interrupts cast time abilities, even those that are supposed to be uninterruptible ( uppercut), making it quite hard for some builds to take them out. I suppose they apply some kind of mini CC every tick. This might also be the reason they prevent you from weapon swapping, if you try to swap exactly during the dmg tick.Jo'Khaljor1

Yeah now that I think of it my non-procced Crystal Fragments were getting interrupted too. Seems like it sort of resets/locks your character or something strange besides movement.
Wonder if they can fix this. Definitely annoying to put up with. This comes from a guy who made a guide w/ vids on soloing every Imperial City Sewer/District boss.
Tholiakke needs to be fixed, and Baron Thirsk's odd healing should be looked at as well to make sure it is working as intended.Edited by Vaoh on April 23, 2016 9:22PM0
