...Please scale all gear to level 50 and be done with it.
Please avoid '100 CP gear', '150 CP gear', '200 CP gear' etc. This creates exactly the same issue as with the current gear; we want to mix certain sets but we can't because we weaken ourselves by doing so.
Please just make all sets equal level (and without stupid traits - e.g. training on max level gear ?!) and allow us to pick and choose what we wish to use.
Ultimately, giving us more choice will keep us playing for longer, where as continually forcing us to change to new gear with each DLC is more likely to make people think 'sod it, pointless to change because they'll do it again in 3 months'.
Thanks

I think it'll be locked into whatever cp tier (v8-v10 I think) that lines up with the new system. Would love to see some of the sub vr sets scale to max cp level but I doubt that will be the case.
Currently I have zero interest in any new set, my sole interest is in what sets will be brought up to par through the new system.
Always thought the crafting blacksmith/woodworker/clothing should have been much harder to level up (but not exculsionary so 1-40 gives you everything like we have now but 41-50 get ready for that grind) with level 50 characters having the ability to bring up gear to max vr, max cp. Choices are.cool in a mmo.

Without any progression to this game, I can see myself become bored and find a new game... I imagine many others would do the same. Its all very well removing this and that, but unless ZOS puts in some kind of system that still offers progression and something to work towards... the game is done

How is making gear levels through CP limiting you with choices?
If anything, all the old sets from VR 12, 14 and even 15 levels will be good again, as they'll probably drop to your current CP LEVEL, OR be able to be crafted to your current CP level, rendering them actually useful again.
I'm pretty sure this opens up more options/choices than the opposite.
Sooooo...... yeah.

So then you'll either have to stack all CP into offensive areas to kill things quicker than they hit through your amount of armor and resistance or stacking into defensive areas just to stay alive long enough to see the end of the fight. Imagine trying to get through vMA with level 50 gear fighting max level NPCs. I'm sure vMoL would go very well if everyone was stuck at level 50 gear and getting half shot by the "trash mobs".
Oh, why don't they just make level 50 better? Because every time they raise max CP you then have to re-balance the entire gear system 3-50 until there's only one point separating gear levels. Keeping gear levels tied into CP ranks is the only thing that makes sense short and long term for progression in game.
