Aqueous Mounts, or boats

Would be able to move through the water much faster and look way cooler than just swimming. Hell, maybe not even a mount but a Rowing Boat or something.
I know these things aren't important or necessary at all but they would be cool and I personally wound't mind owning one, just so I can cruise around the Tamriel Waters in style.

Mounts....
I'm not too sure about an actual aquatic mount. However, I think it would be nice if some of our mounts would have some kind of animation in the water, rather than the instant dismount and disappear thing we have now.
For instance, horses can swim fine when they need to. Same with all the cat mounts. It should be extremely slow if you stay mounted on them when this happens, but still possible to travel. The guars however, I don't think they could swim at all, therefore they would have to protest about going into deep water and then force dismount in a more dynamic way than what we have.Priests of Hircine

I wouldn't be opposed to our regular mounts being able to swim but mounts JUST for the water... the thought actively makes me angry.
But your horse being able to swim? SURE! I've actually suggested this very thing @Glaiceana
In my "Advanced Mounts Overhaul Concept"
(http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/159507/advanced-mounts-overhaul-concept/p1) I suggested additional riding skills be added and one of those skills was:- Aquestrian: One point in this skill and mounts are able to swim in the water, upgrades increase its speed in the water. (Get it? Aquestrian... hehe)

A big YES to having boats you could use to row over the water surface, and maps where they might actually mean something.
Also... a YES as well to horses you could teach how to not disappear when they get their feet wet...1
