Yeah it really bugs me as well that there is absolutely no difference between the jerkin and the robe. This thread has kind of become the one where all problems with armor and costumes are being brought to the Devs attention and they are actually asking for these kinds of reports on that thread. So if you could add this there, it will actually get seen.
