Quality over Quantity

I'm aware that ZOS has made a promise to release 4 DLCs every year, but to be honest I would rather have 2 meaty DLCs a year with weekly or bi-weekly fixes. It really seems like every other DLC is decent with the other 2 being incomplete, and therefore disappointing. Orsinium was a fantastic DLC with a ton to do, and pristine scenery. Imperial City was very meh. I like how they're making districts conquerable but wasn't that the plan all along? Instead IC was rushed in order to give us Orsinium; an excellent addition to ESO. Now we're seeing the same thing happen again. A very underwhelming/disappointing DLC called Thieves Guild; followed by the Dark Brotherhood (most likely going to be the best DLC to date). I get the quarterly thing ZOS but instead of giving us incomplete releases such as IC or TG, can we just have 2 or 3 very well done, and complete DLCs a year instead? And please, don't delay exploit fixes for DLCs; instead make balancing and exploit/bug fixes either weekly or bi-weekly.

Let's just not speculate how good DB will be. I can foresee countless ways to mess this patch up.

Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood being small is fine.
The purpose of those isn't so much to give us a whole huge zone to play in as it is to give us these two organizations which people have been waiting from since launch.

Orsinium was a different beast all together, that was about getting a new zone and a new story, so it makes sense that in sheer scale it was a little more robust.

Imperial City was about PvP which, though important to a lot of players, not a huge part of the world of Tamriel. I think it's cool that they're creating additional districts to conquer, but in the end, it's still a single city.

So long as the rest of the Zone releases follow the Orsinium model, I'll be happy enough. But I don't need that out of every addition.

I like monthly updates that add a few items, a quest or two, and a few bug fixes then have one or two major updates per year. Keeps players fresh

Release when ready. There should be fluid time lines that are dependent upon their completion; not because it's March or June.

Quarterly updates are really great but not at the low quality that the OP has stated. The bottom line is that @ZOS doesn't have the man power to make this work and provide both Quality and Quantity that we deserve. I'm not saying they aren't trying their best as I know they are. They lack the resources to do the jobs needed to get this game to where it could be. The potential for this to be one of the best MMO's out there to date is still there for the taking.

@ZOS needs to decide if they want to continue with the mediocre at best route they are on, or if they want to fix the game, fix the lag, fix the bugs, stop the exploits and provide the quality needed to bring back everyone that left and any one else who hasn't ever played it.

I'm currently looking at Black Desert Online and I hate to say it, but a TON of people are going to leave ESO for that game. It delivers on what it promises, plain and simple.

Please mind that I dont know much about lore, so this may seem like a stupid question but:

What will they do once they fill the whole map of Tamriel?

Have to commit to marketing timelines as well. Taking out ads and such require $$$ and timely placement is key. It hits the bottom line hard when you take out marketing for something, then end up pushing it way out and having to purchase the marketing all over again later...

Likely impossible to do. Tamriel is only a single continent if such a feat happens. They can do each of the Daedric planes, they could so subzones within zones. There is endless amounts of content that can be created as it stands.
