Skill points from vet ranks to be removed too?

Since I heard news of vet removal, I've only had one great question: will they remove the 16 skill points we get from the 16 vet ranks or will we get them once we reach 160 CPs? I'm already indebted from an SP point of view, I don't want to lose those 16... Can someone clarify this to me?

There is a search bar on the Forums, use it!

The problem with this though...
Is that a lvl VR 16 does not have 16 Points more than a lvl 50 would.
VR 1 starts immediately at 50, so when we went from 49 to VR 1 we only got 1 skill point. The same that someone will get from going 49 to 50. So only the 15 skill points from VR 2-16 will actually be "extra".
Hopefully ZOS checks the error of their ways or anyone with non VR characters will be a whopping 1 skill point ahead. I don't really care so much about the extra point new players will get as I do the fact it was overlooked. On topic: As others have said, Zeni has alluded very heavily that you'll get to keep the Skill points you've earned, OP.
