They DID mention the barbershop as "longer term" after discussing the Q2 BD DLC in their january Year Ahead...
Yes, it is a disappointment. But an expected one. They have only so much code jockey time to spend after all... so they have to do things one after another. Finish the things they had already planned for DB, hopefully squishing most of the bugs (I dare not hope for all bugs - something always slips through the cracks and then needs patching, that too is expected...), and then implementing it.
I do however hope that they will make the barbershop "next" on their to-do list after DB... because it really, really is high time!2
