From my somewhat extensive experience on the subject of (not) pleasing, i would argue that once you reach a population count of two or more, you will have trouble "pleasing" everyone.

Same here this is gonna be an awesome DLC I just think the high possibility of no console chat box and pc voice chat is very upsetting for most of us.

You can't please anyone anymore I guess. I can already tell this is gonna be one of my favorite DLCs just because it is the Dark Brotherhood and I have been waiting since before launch to join them.

Console chat box may make it before the DLC. Last ESO live they mentioned the engineers were putting their finishing touches on it or whatever.

    @Volkodav
It doesn't please me because they're marketing class balance and updates as a DLC feature. Something that should be pushed on it's own.

I will admit that I like the IC district capture and the Sanctum update. Am I super stoked for this update? No, not really. The new game informer spread of FFXV has me stoked though.

I'm seeing the class balance and updates listed under base game update which is free to everyone. Correct me if I am wrong.

Also, I personally preferred the Lego Star Wars game informer spread over the FFXV one.

Why should everybody cheer at every item on that list? Each person is entitled to their own opinion. I admit I'm excited about the news myself, but your post seems to imply there's only one correct position on all those things.

BTW, you conveniently left out the nerf to vCoA, vWGT and vICP, which very much does not please me.

    Wait, huh?
Those changes will apply to everyone even without buying the DLC, so they are free to everyone but you get chafed bc they have the audacity to list them in the same page as the DLC they will be simultaneously released with?

Not to rain on your parade, but what is your point here?
You like the new DLC(or well what we know of it so far). Congratulations, it is a good thing. Really, no sarcasm.

Some people don't. Specifically the people who are into small group content(I assume the bigger group content bunch might still be occupied with vMoL) and (small scale) PvP. That's me and several dozen people in my friendlist off the top of my head at the very least. Not to say there's no good stuff listed there but I see zero reason for me personally to buy this DLC.

...I just noticed this, why did you leave the dungeon part out? I'm just curious

There is a lot of good stuff in that announcement. The implementation will be the key. We knew vet levels were going away but that can be a blessing or a curse depending on how it's done. Many were hoping for a new trial or at least a new vet dungeon so that group will probably be disappointed, but scaled Sanctum may keep people busy for a while, especially if the norm/vet difficulty divide is similar to MoL currently. Just the announcement of that keeps hope alive for scaled versions of the other trials with relevant loot. I'm already drooling for scaled VDSA and v16 Healer and Footman gear some time down the road.

For me DB will be about a whole lot of little things that I'd consider quality of life enhancements with just enough content to keep me going for another 4 months.

I think OP wants to know why people aren't satisfied with some of the new stuff. Especially when a lot of it has been asked for for a while now.

You're speaking to a person who still plays a game that I love and have from it's release. Morrowind. So,as much as I love ESO I will continue to play it and all it's DLCs for more than two weeks,I assure you.I still play in Hew's Bane and it's over two weeks old. I dont crave constant and immediate new content. If that were the case,I wouldnt be playing ESO period. The main content hasnt changed for two years.Only new DLCs have added content.
I'll be playing the new DLC for quite a while using each of my alts.
  • thefndodge
As a new player, I'm really excited about the crafting bags and the ability to display your character name for console players.

I play on PS4 so I'm really hoping for text chat. I was bewildered by the lack of it when I started playing last week. I tried turning on area chat but was bombarded with obnoxious music and the sounds of bodily functions. Thus, my desire to socialize has been extremely limited since I joined.

I tried to understand why people are hating on VR removal, because so many do, and i honestly can't comprehend it. So no, not everyone is going to be pleased, no matter how ZOS tries.

I mean, Gina shows up in a thread to answer/make a joke, and at least a couple people comment with a totally not related rant. That's how you know :p
Skye Cloude - Sorc DPS, Master Crafter. Main, the bestest
Lae Lenne - Templar Healer Trial grade.
Dromede - Stamina Nightblade, she's a newb and doesn't know what she's doing
V'oghatta - Stamplar pretending to be a tank
Ulville Thonvella - aspiring Fire Mage, be careful around her fire sticks!
Dromedaris - lost and not found. Named after a shoe, what else can you expect from her? A proper tank in her wildest dreams
Swims-Naked - too pretty to grind, too silly to quest.
Sun Flair - Dunmer Templar that can't spell for life. To bad she's too broke to afford a name change... Well, at least she's pretty...

There is much to be pleased about, but there will always be people who still want more and they want it now. They cannot get into anything positively. To read the content of my first post, there is so much to please people.
Again,..not everyone can be pleased though,as was mentioned in a comment above.

I'm sorry that I'm not jumping for joy at the fact that ZOS is finally going to finish the only PvP DLC after waiting nine months. The fact that capturable districts was announced out of the blue actually has me more worried than excited. If you want me excited for the IC district changes then Brian Wheeler needs to make a post to let us know what all they are thinking about changing in the districts and get our feedback on it. If they just a a flag in the middle of every district then that will be worse than doing nothing.

this means that AA, HRC and Dragonstar Arena loot (dropped sets) will not be
