So powerful...i had a 7k health regen, 51k health, blazing build myself. Last night I had made a new set of seducers to try out, with fasalas for the health. Seems to work pretty good but I have not noticed a huge difference between the two. My old build health regen felt better for getting health back up though lol. This new build is almost there. Wish I could find a set of permafrost that was impen! Otherwise I think perma would much better...

If you could get Permafrost jewelry you'd only have to run 2 armor pieces.

I mainly depend on Clouding Swarm to get my health up, along with sporadic castings of Honor the Dead.

    Great video man!

I swear by repentence by the way, anything to help keep that small stamina base going.

Yeah, the whole time watching this video I kept thinking how amazing repentance would be for this build. The only times I see you dying, Azoi, are when you're out of stam. I think it'd make this build even more OP.

But other than that, I enjoyed this one a lot. Just watching people kill themselves on your blazing shield is so satisfying =P

Hey @Synozeer , what reason to use shuffle on this build if it requires people to destroy your shield asap? Almost support ability would be better on it's place from my pov, something like "Cleance" which will heal you for 15% of health if you have negative effect on ya(I'm sure you have a lot in such situations so you may try to spam it and heal to max health really fast) also it adds 10% magregen bonus

I've tried Repentence but it scales off your stats, so I'm getting maybe 800ish or so stamina for each corpse. That's enough for about one and a half blocks (blocking costs me 568 stamina), and nowhere near close enough for a CC break. Most of the time I only kill a couple people at any given time (and many times just one or none), so the benefits of giving up another skill to use Repentence which may not even come into play or return any kind of respectable amount of stamina is hard for me to justify. Overall, I try to rotate blocking and Blazing Shield, so when I'm getting low on magicka I block to get magicka back, and vice versa. It's just an undeniable fact that you will run out of stamina when you take on huge groups if you don't kill them fast enough or use LOS to regen your stats and give time to pop another potion.

I thought the same thing, but when you jump into a group of 10 enemies, there's going to be too much incoming damage for Blazing Shield/blocking to handle. Using Shuffle helps mitigate the amount of damage coming in, and also saves stamina from dodging instead of blocking. Your shields are still going to pop regardless, but you'll now take less incoming damage between shields. When watching the video, see how many times Combat Cloud pops up the Dodge and imagine if I didn't have shuffle, how much more damage and faster my stamina would be depleted :)

Cleanse I've tried too. It's a bit too expensive, and it doesn't crit. When Honor the Dead crits, it heals for almost the same amount at half the cost, plus I get magicka back. It's also spammable while Cleanse isn't. At worse, it doesn't crit and heals for half, costs half, but returns magicka.

Glad you all enjoyed it. I can tell you it was just as fun going through the clips and reliving previous explosions to make these videos :)

Are you grinding for the V16 permafrost pieces or settling for v15? I have 1 jewelery and 4 v15 pieces, but haven't built it out with orgnums because its not v16, I figured I'd be losing out on too much.

Also, shield spells negate spell pen, user's dmg mitigation modifers, and crit. So essentially your enemy is doing tooltip dmg on you. Having shuffle allows some of those "full dmg" attacks to be ignored.

Been tweaking/testing it for the past month, although I also ran a blazing shield build in PvP for a short time after IC hit (and have been using it in PvE since then for doing Undaunted dailies). :)

I think I'm going to regrind for more permafrost rings, taking the advice of an above poster. This would allow me to have two undaunted health bonuses, netting about 3k more health than my 51k...

Thanks for this build, hard work and video! Despite the templar close community, we just didn't have the numbers necessary to look at all builds (though nifty has done plenty to help make Templar a pve powerhouse). It's very nice to see the health stat build up front and center in all its blazing glory!

He does a fair amount of blocking. I'd say you might need a piece of sturdy to help keep stamina from draining.

I'd wait a little bit till the meta solidifies and bugs are addressed with any hotfixes.

Currently I've been running all impen except for 2 reinforced pieces (on one undaunted piece and my shield). I'll probably be switching those to sturdy and possibly one more piece. I only started PvPing since DB yesterday as I wanted to get through all the new content first, so I'll be testing stuff. So far with my original build and setup, except for obvious CP changes, and running Elusive Mists instead of Elude, it seems to be working good. Better resource management thanks to Constitution.
