A root is a form of cc. By streaking through a root you are using magicka to break that cc. Anytime I fight a sorc, they NEVER dodge roll. Always streak. I have yet to see a sorc dodge roll and I've been playing pvp since the game cane out on console.

Dk talons at close range=streak through dk and stun him.
Nb criple at long range=streak through and keep fighting.

You don't streak though a root, you take the root with you when you streak, the cc remains on you and isn't broken. I don't think you understand how un-helpful only being able to streak in one random direction is. I will always roll out of a root because I want to choose where I streak next. Pro-tip: if you're a dk that just used talons on a sorc don't stand in front of said sorc, move behind them. Now that you have this knowledge try to root a sorc next to an obstacle. If you root a sorc in an open field then of course they will streak off out of your melee range. Dodge roll is pretty cheap with 30+ cp into tumbling; I can roll twice and still have stam left to cc break. Console players sound bad.

Regardless it CCs you and stops you from streaking, hence why it is listed.

Regardless it CCs you and stops you from streaking, hence why it is listed.

meh, cc is cc, easy or hard to do it still is cc, so be it :d

@YurtTheSilentChief - That is exactly where your misconception lies. it is not an escape tool and in a good sorcs hands it is hands down the reason he gets 95% of his kills..

Keep thinking that it is a get away tool and you will continue to get nuked and continue to run to posts like this to complain about how OP it is.

I have a sorc but i hate playing a sorc..

I play mostly a stam NB and lose a lot of times to sorcs.. to learn how to beat any class you need to understand how they work and what combo's they will try on you, just like mortal combat....

Good Combo's = win win win....

More importantly though is to know how to combat those combo's...
Pay attention, when a sorc pops detonation his intent is to streak through you close to when detonation will explode an unleash all he has in less than a second..

this x100 ... i OCCASIONALLY use it to get some distance, but thats just if im low on health and dont have enough time to get my shields back up before i know id get pk'd... MOST of the time i use it offensively either A.) to stun ... or B.) change direction that im attacking from faster

No sir, you are the one who took my comment personally, and took issue with me commenting on your thread. I simply corrected you when you erroneously labeled my comment as derailing and not pertinent to the topic, which it clearly is on-topic and relevant. It is not my prerogative to ensure your feelings are not hurt when you insist on making threads that are provocative and antagonistic. It does not bother me in the slightest that you disagree or are unwilling to see reason. You may ignore me if you like, but it does not make you right, and if you are unable or unwilling to recognize your own salt and accept criticism on your own thread, then you have no business making them to begin with.
