Patch Notes (listed fixes/updates)

Since the server is down for maintenance, this would mean that a list of patch notes should be known at this time. Can you tell us what is being patched/fixed/updated?

*I know it was stated you were fixing the crash bug in Selena's Web.

Is there a reason that the update notes are not posted when the server goes offline?

They have always waited until the server is back up to provide patch notes as what they set out to do isn't always what hits live.
This is the best practice ...sometimes you will see comments on what they plan to fix if you click the dev tracker...info there and also look to the patch notes section later approx 1-2 hours after the server is back online.

I am not a programmer but that sounds so confusing. They know they fixed Selena's web, but they don't know what else they fixed until the maintenance is completed? Once they start the update/patch/maintenance, wouldn't that mean they already know which "items/bugs/etc", they have in this update?

Not trying to be rude but if you click the dev tracker and read...you will see specific to your questions, comments where there is a difference between what is known and needed to be fixed vs what can and is fixed on their internal servers compared to the live servers......you just need to go read as the answers to your questions have already been provided to the company on this forum.

Hoping to just help you understand where to go.

    Okay, thanks.

Appreciate the link and answers. I wish they would have once central area to post this stuff. If it is about the maintenance, I thought it would or should be in "Patch Notes"

This is the only game company (with a game that I play) that doesn't list what is being fixed days in advance.

They do... see Gina's post above.

You're asking for info prior to its release, so there is no :one place" place for that and it shouldn't be as its doesn't make sense to post what you think you're going to do in once place and then post what you did in another. I would highly suggest reading the PC incremental patch notes first......

You can follow the dev tracker to see where another user had a specific question about a possible issue or bug. But understand that is in no way a patch note upcoming update, so all things ESO where devs comment, this dev tracker allows us to "follow" those conversations but for what you desire...an pre-what is being patched....you will need to watch and read ESO Live, dev tracker and Ask us ANything as well as the news and website articles or sticky posts.

    Again, appreciate you answers.

It was posted earlier this week that Selena's web crash was being fixed, but I didn't see that in the notes Gina posted, did I miss that somewhere, do you know?

I looked at the Development Forums. I really don't want to read 100+ posts to guess at what may or may not be coming. I think it is a great area for those dedicated enough to the game.

You have been very helpful, they should add you to the payroll.
