What you like the most about ESO

Just as the title states, I'd like to hear what is you like the most about ESO. I feel like there is so much to love that I can't narrow down what I like about it the most. Coming from only WOW years ago this is the only other MMO I've played so I don't generally get caught up in comparisons. And with so much space on the [General/PVP] being filled with what people want fixed and balanced I think it would be nice to see the positive feedback thread.
Annnd go.

The people and friends are what make any mmo so much fun. Also doing that random stupid stuff in pvp just for kicks.

Honestly, if it wasnt based upon the the elder scrolls, id have probably dropped it by now

or sure id have probably played it for a few months, might have even spent money, but id have left it soon after

what keeps me coming back is the roleplay community, and the lore of the series

otherwise id be playing something else

Story and quests are the main thing. Still it is sum of it's parts with combat, exploration, character development and first person view.

Elder scrolls lore, open world, feeling like being in a next chapter of Skyrim (however not so dark).
And I love to stay at veteran areas with no people running around with their annoying pets and stealing precious resources :D .

I love the game mechanics and it's lore. It's a great game but it's flaws really drag it down.

    Phew... lots to LOVE.
    • I love the depth of the game, it seems pretty epic to me
    • The breathtaking environmental scenery... every now and then while travelling through the game, I come across a view that just takes your breath away. Its the same experience I have when I have travelled... suddenly coming across a view that just makes you stop in your tracks and stare, just having to take it all in! For me, I think its pretty amazing a game can duplicate that real life feeeling. After nearly a year in game, I am still in awe of the environmental graphics.
    • I love the combat mechanics. Our characters are so fast and manoeuvrable compared to many other combat games (If we forget recent problems and the problems with PvP)
    • I love the flexibility of character builds, so much is possible - play how you want! Love the skill lines and how you can combine them
    • Like how we can make our own armours instead of just relying on drops as in other games
    • Cyrodiil. OK, it is pretty broken right now, which is a terrible shame. But if we forget that for a minute, I love the idea behind Cyrodiil when its working and when everyone on PS4 doesnt just go Red, but when there is a faction balance. The idea and concept of Cyrodiil is such a great one.
    • Imperial City. I Know its not for everyone, but I LOVE it!! It's pretty thrilling. Its a gamble. Are you going to get stones or lose them? What risks are you prepared to take? It adds that element of risk that Cyrodiil doesn't have, and also provides a unique terrain for PvP (sewer tunnels or urban buildings). And mixing PvP with PvE? Awesome! Love how you can be in a PvP fight and you also have to keep an eye for PvE adds spawning.
    • I love the variation!! It has everything! Quests (though I dont enjoy questing), Dungeons, Trials, Group content, solo content, PvP, PvE.. etc
    • For the most part, when the community isn't moaning its ass off or being super negative, I actually like the community here. There are tons of really helpful and friendly players and I've met some pretty cool people in game. Compared to the last MMO I played (DCUO), there seems to bee a larger percentage of a mature audience, and I've experienced less drama and more cooperative play in game.
    • As much as the devs get slated in these forums, I like the team. Having been in other games and seen a greedy company that cares nothing for the game or players, I can tell the difference. When you have code, you are going to have problems, and every game has problems. What I like is that I feel the team here actually listens within reason. The forums have a strict code, and the developers here are always polite and courteous even when enforcing the rules. I for one feel good about the devs, and thats not kissing ass, just a reality when compared with other experiences with devs from other games. If you have a problem here, a lot of the time it gets resolved and you feel lisened to.

I love lag, long loading screens, random loading screens, animation cancelers
i love game being called elder SCROLLS online and you can only do 2 capture scroll quest daily and love the reward for the scroll quest
i love to be in grouped in group via group finder where dd use light attacks as main source of damage or use soultrap as aoe, tanks that dont use taunt or block, healers that use inner fire and dont heal also wearing heavy armor
i love boring quest with uber rewards

but i also like starting EP territory since looks morrowindy
fast combat, crafting, trading, stealing, killing NPC, being grouped in groups where bosses die in matter of seconds, animations of dragon leap and reflective scale

    Fixing lags since beta

    What I like:
    The combat
    The humor of the game
    99% of all khajiit NPCs
    Gameplay in general
Razum-dar (yes I put khajiit NPC too, but raz is so awesome he needs a spot for himself)

PvP is also fun from time to time. PvE I havn't had much time in excluding quests (and the quests suck outside DLC zones)

Though I hate crafting research, mount learning and SP/Skill lines being locked behind specific content forcing you to do boring stuff.

The lack of structure. You can pretty much do what you want, when you want in this game - questing, dungeons, pvp or just wondering around looking for skyshards or books. There is no one way to play the game. Linear games bore the life out of me (ok we have a story mode which must be done in order but that is a tiny part of the game)

I like that when your playing solo there are still other real people running around doing their own thing that you can socialize with. It brings more realism to a video game rather then just interacting with NPC's all the time which can get boring & bland.
Sometimes you'll be in the absolute middle of nowhere, you think your all alone & you find someone naked dancing in a waterfall. So ya know...you have to join in.
