Which alliance do you think overall has the best players?

EP: mob mentality, they dont really like it if you are off doing your own thing

AD: i have had the absolute worst experiance with these, so ill leave it at that

DC: generally lax and chill, though with a mixture of the other two in prime time hours

Well then it seemsi have to give a serious reply to this xD

I've had my share of experience with all of the factions too and well... these are mine:

EP: players in the EP i found to be the most relaxed, social and casual of the bunch even in PvP areas.. i remember beeing in cyrodill to do some daily PvE quests and finding an EP players on my road doing quests himself.. we stared at each other... made a greeting emote, and everyone went on his way even tho we were enemies. Even as far as Pve Goes i found the most helpful people in EP and is no wonder i choce EP as my main alliance.

AD: i don't even want to start talking about them... playing both WITH them and AGAINST them made me hate the majority of the PvP players in the AD.. but before you tart hating me for this.. i don't think it's a bad thing.. i'm not talking about the people that playes AD, i talk about the PvP style of the majority of the AD players.. and hating in a higly competitive activity like PvP is i think beeing a GOOD thing for competitive gameplay as long as it does not goes behod that and become a personal hate for the people.
My experience in PvP with AD is that they're the most... unfair of all, instead of organizing parties and such they very much prefer to go for "tricks" like killing on sight while standing still at doors in imperial city and such... really the only ones i've ever see do this thing SO MUCH.

DC: the most "perfectionists" of players... experience tells me that they're very organized about what they want to achieve ecpecially in PvP with zerg teams perfectly communicating via TS and such... the downside i found to the attitude is that people in DC are mainly going for "fast completion" or "perfect runs" compared to other alliances.. in a way that in many guilds well.. if you don't know how to complete a vet dungeons due to not having experience in them (talking mostly about VET dungeons) i found very few people willing to actually spend the time and help you out instead of just... calling someone else with more experience already.
I reccomand this alliance to "hardcore" players :pensive:

All this said... these are MY PERSONAL OPINIONS that comes from PERSONAL EXPERIENCES so they might easely not respect other people view of them.. and no, i don't think either of the people in the differente alliances are bad,.. i just think they are different and that is a good thing since it goes for different playstyles and a good level of competitiveness as far as PvP goes.

This said i will still kill yellows on sight when i can because door ganking every time i entered IC is still in my mind.. but i'll do it with all the love i'm capable of :P

Don't start a ridiculous fight. Best players play for all alliances.

Well, I'm all for daggerfall and the dominion, but I really have never enjoyed anything about the pact. Dont like nords or dark elves (argonians are ok, they can come chill in elsweyr with us cool cats), and their zones are so dull and dreary, and the quests... terrible design compared to the rest.

Dont even get me started on the smell.

Nords are great tanks, Dunmer is the meta race for magicka NB and magicka DK right now, Argonians are the ultimate slave race (faster swimming to escape House Dres slavers ?).

Zone design is a matter of taste, as an Ebonheart player I like my zones and I really like the Daggerfall zones, the zones and the quest lines are full of first class drama, but - sorry - I can't stand that pink lollypop Auridon eye cancer zone design and those woods where every little root will slow down or block your horse. Dominion zone design is just terrible and sorry - but there is no other race in this game which delivers more unsympathetic NPCs as the Altmer race, hypocritical law and order and command and obidience fetishists, ruled by a queen which reminds me for Galadriel who may have accepted the One Ring from Frodo :-)

Before you ask such a silly question, give us your idea of what a good player is.
What is YOUR definition of this, OP?

Otherwise, this post will lead nowhere, since they will always go for their preferred side.
And their definition will not be yours.

If you truly want to know how each alliance is from a neutral perspective, I can give a general idea.

PvE - In PvE generally all alliances are pretty similar. However, in general, EP players have a light-hearted, casual style. AD players generally try to maximize efficiency and often disregard the general trinity approach to PvE opting for more damaged based groups. DC players, in general, like the AD players are also competitive but usually stricter to the their approach than AD players. However, across all alliances, the competitive players usually communicate with each other and are not stuck up on their choice of alliance.

PvP is a different ball game all together, in which all alliances show a distinct style
    • Ebonheart Pact (red) - The casual and relaxed nature of EP players are also evident in PvP. They generally play with a loosely organized but effective approach to PvP. They also have a fearless approach in battle compared to the other alliances, both of which generally bank upon tactics in combat. Majority of their players are Dragonknights.
    • Aldmeri Dominion (yellow) - The AD players love pulling strings from the shadows. The general approach of AD players is to consider PvP like a "Team Deathmatch" and consider offense as the best defense. They use stealth in extreme amounts and love stealth kills. While, seemingly low in numbers at times, this is usually because majority of the players are hidden from view. When playing as AD, I often see dozens of players all moving in stealth, towards the generally unsuspecting prey. Due to this, it is very hard to determine the true number of ADs in a xVx fight as the number of hidden players are far higher than those who choose to visible. AD players are also masters of positioning and often go right through enemy zergs undetected wrecking havoc by burning their siege equipment and taking down the poor guys who wandered away a bit too far from their pals. The AD players, in-spite of the general hatred towards them by other alliances, are extremely tactical but usually most of their tactics end in "Lets kill them before they know what hit them". Majority of their players are Nightblades, while they also have a good number of Sorcerers.
    • Daggerfall Covenant (blue) - The DC players are great in their coordination and have a strategic approach to the Alliance War. They choose tactical combat unlike EP players, who prefer "rolling along together for fun", but are quite defensive in their approach, unlike AD players, who rely upon ganking and distraction a lot in their strategies. They can fight on for long amounts of time if requires and in general, are great in handing out retribution. It can be summed up they are more balanced than other alliances. Majority of their players are Templars, while they also have a good number of Sorcerers.

However, it must be noted that the racial bonuses of the cases of an alliance play a big role in deciding the style of combat of an alliance.

EP races are more tanky and hardy, so they are fearless in combat.
AD races have great bonuses to damage dealing capabilities and great stealth bonuses at the cost of survivability, so they are more stealthy and focus on offense.
DC races are better sustained so they have a balanced fighting style.

So, in general, it cannot be said which alliance is best.

If you are a very casual player, join EP.
If you love the stealth genre and the thrill of the lifestyle of an assassin, join AD.
If you want to duke it out like real fighters, join DC.

@susmitds And post of the day goes to-

You're absolutely right by my own experiences, however though this may be across the board but there's a Guild leader in EP that has absolutely no patience for mild *** and will not hesitate to kick you from the group while in Cyrodiil without warning. A bit worse than just casual playing.

Great response. Thank you. I guess according to this I play like an AD, but in the EP alliance.
