What was your favourite community event in ESO?

I saw another thread, Roll call: So who's still having fun? and it has been getting some great responses! It really got me thinking as many of my responses were group or community orientated.

What has been your favourite, or the best, community or group event?

Maybe it was a fantastic guild event, or one of those cool fashion shows that you heard about on ESO live, maybe it was even a Zos organized activity like the cool little screenshot hunt they have done previously.

Khajiit liked the cake oh yes. The orc boy is much bigger and stronger now - although not smarter.

Also this one heard from her little AD cousin Skybright that the mass wedding on the PTS was very nice - although short and complicated by zoning/phasing issues.

This one has enjoyed many guild events involving dancing and fishing and other mischief.

Of course also last Fishmas was very enjoyable as Fishmas always is.

Events, festivals, things that involve moving the paws to music. This one enjoys them all!

What ever happened to the community events organized by players? Do people still do that stuff?

Dramatic reading of "Lusty Argonian Maid", book club discussions of "A Pocket Guide to the Empire", etc?

I think the best time I had was actually a very memorable guild fishing event! It was a fishing event with the guild where we were all enjoying some mead, and the rules were that you couldn't wear anything but your tabard and no weapons! We went around fishing and fighting with our fists on any mobs we came across! We actually we told by a random person that they were reporting us for botting, and we obviously started chatting back.

Long story short, they laughed and ended up joining the guild because they enjoyed our taste in guild events

Well, since this is the first MMO I've ever played, most were more of just "first time" interactions with other players.

Back shortly after launch when things were crazy difficult in the VR zones, I ran into 2 other players and had my first group experience. We ran together for a couple of hours and had an absolute blast! I also learned that there was more to this whole MMO thing besides just seeing other players running around in the same world as I was. The game became a lot richer of an experience from that point forward.

Another one was when I tried to solo my very first Dolmen. I wasn't sure if I would be able to pull it off, but a knucklehead will always jump in before thinking. I was doing surprising well, but I noticed that my health was never really going down. Low and behold once I finished the final pinion, I noticed that a higher level player had been standing back and healing me the whole time. She just waved and jumped on her horse and rode off into the sunset. This was lesson number 2 of why MMO's can be such fun.

Lastly was the anniversary cake. Thanks ZOS for doing that!

Aha! Yes, I've definitely done that although I think I have done it far more at world bosses than dolmens. I just stand back and heal the person so they still get credit/cp/loot for the kill.

If I'm on a lowbie alt, I usually hop right in and give them a hand!
