I left this game back when they nerfed the speed for having 5 pieces of a crappy set and being a vamp made you faster than running. I am now back and watching myself run with that same 5 piece set and without it does not seem to be a difference. Has anyone tested this ( I am not good at testing ). What I am basically wondering is what good is the Vampire Passive if it does not even work with or without the armor set?

    Ahh yea I guess it would. It is the Night Silence set, which ignores movement penalty while in stealth

    Vamp is good for magicka NB due to Dark stalker and undeath passives.
    Cloud swarm is also good for NB due to the NB passive (Master Assassin)

    That was the passive I was meaning also. With Dark Stalker by itself in stealth I go about as fast as springing. And with the 5 piece set of Night Silence and Dark Stalker I go the same speed. It does not seem to work together.

    I don't think they stack.

    They both remove speed penalty of sneaking. Neither actually grant speed.

    So once one removes the penalty, there is nothing else remove.

    That's what I am missing then. If I recall the Dark Stalker use to give a speed boost in stealth now that I think about it. So basically no need for the Night Silence set as it just does the same thing.

    Not sure if I am beating a dead horse, but in the vampire passives is the Dark STalker which is suppose to give speed in stealth. I have been watching this and it does not seem to give more speed. Is this a known bug or is it just suppose to be the same as 5 piece set where no speed penalty

    Dark Stalker provides the same bonus as Night's Silence; they removed the ability for the two to stack.

    If you're a NB you can stack this with the 22% speed boost from Conceiled Weapon + Cloak.

    This will make you as fast as sprinting 50% of the time with a speed buff.

    Only issue there is that Stamblades use Sneak and the Surprise Attack morph because it scales with Stamina.
    While Magblades can just spam Cloak while running with Concealed morph for the speed buff instead of bothering to Sneak at all.

    They should really update the passive then because it still said give speed buff last I looked. But this information is helpful thanks everyone

    This is all well and good, but I really didn't want to use concealed weapon and cloak. The passive and 1 armor set that was not even OP was working well, although maybe not so much boost from the passive would have been better (say from the 60% I think it was and drop it to 30-40% would have been better)
