Molag Bal on vacation?

So I'm casual, been so since official release. Have a main and a bunch of alts as mules. So a secondary character that I took forever to get up to VR1 (2H no other power uses other than Dragon Blood). Finally did just about everything with him and had the Harborage final hanging over his head, finally decided to do it, and WAS not looking forward to it. My main I swear died about 50x (NB) that was about 5 mos after initial release, so I made sure I had food, potions galore, best armor (med), THEN I tackled this task I had to do yet again ( I feel so sorry for those that have 5+ toons in VR)......

Does Molag Bal have a Mini me assistant or something? I was shocked how easy this was, using 2H and only the Dragon blood (which I used ONCE) I hardly took an damage and just found myself just spamming wrecking blow for like 5 mins, then Tada! He collapsed, I was looking around expecting another version of him to come out and snipe me or something, but it ended. That was it....granted easier, but to the point as a casual even I was disappointed at the non challenge, I mean I jacked myself up on caffeine and had everything top notch for the character, felt like I wasted my time prepping.

Guess I didn't read the patches where he was literally fixed (no balls iow), when did this happen? Sorry been gone from ESO for like 8 months and just getting back into it.

I did the same thing. I have my dragonknight(2h) in vr2 since forever and decided to do the whole harborage and god of schemes thing just to get it over with. I was two-shotting everything with wrecking blow and dragon blood. All Molag Bals titans were being two-shotted by my character. I thought it might be a bug or something. Then the final battle with Molag Bal and it was over in a flash! and I won! I have like 6 nightblades that went thru this and all died at least twice some even more. My Dragonknight aced it without dying! Maybe the cake was still there...lol. But I really think it was the crown store skimpy sexy elven two piece costume(she was wearing by the way) that did them in....She looks hot and plays hot! lol!

oh yes hes been nerfed to and fro oblivion, the first time i fought him(like 2-3 months after launch)it was pretty epic fight, i think he had clones or an army of titans that spawned.

He used to spawn 4 titans, do his moon jump much quicker, and a whole host of other stuff. My fight with him later 29 seconds. Compared to my first toon, that was just...just wow. First toon died once or twice, if I remember correctly.

I thought it was pretty cool to be able to almost one hit his army of minions, usually in games i play they say a certain thing will give you power but in the end it normally does not or at least in my case, so i enjoyed that battle. Molag bal really intrigues me in this game, i mean, He actually gets impressed and CONGRATULATES you in a small way for beating him and when your fighting his minions at the gaint anchors he either sounds like he wants to beat you OR you beat him, i adore enemys that can be bad BUT STILL GIVE YOU CREDIT.

The first time I died 6 or 10 times did some research and came back with healing staff build and beat him, using just found armor while questing. This time on three alts it was very very easy with just a healing staff no food and no armor sets. But all the quest bosses have been watered down due to complaints also. I enjoyed the challenged which was why I level PvE without armor sets, just what the quests provide and whats found along the way.

According to the story line Molag Bal cannot be defeated as he is part of a greater plan. We are just pawns for the Daedra.

thats true but their will be always someone to fight back anyway! ive seen so many enemy's that have been immortal and such yet there will always be ways to deal with them.

I feel like it depends on how fast you're dpsing him cause I remember at least a few months after the tamriel unlimited update I got to fight him and he did do all those things. But now as I geared my characters with sets as they level now along with cp he doesn't do it since he drops like a fly now.

Well, according to all of ES lore. These daedric lords are gods. You can 'defeat' them like we did, but they just lose their corporeal form and can't respawn for X amount of time (depending on how badly you defeated them). And neither are the daedric lords inherently good or evil, morality is so below them it's not worth mentioning. All they do is scheme and plan. Just like the Ancient Greek gods. Being immortal and ever-powerful must get extremely boring, their only entertainment is using mortals to smite their fellow deities.

The Molag Bal fight was long ago nerfed into oblivion. It is a joke now and has been for over a year. After the nerf I beat him in little time just light attacking with a resto staff and healing myself when necessary.
