lmao doesn't your zerg have anything better to do?

This reminds me of the bug that occured for DC players near Ales. One alliance would see us in the rock, for us there wasn't a rock. It's not that they're exploiting, they've found a bug with that dolmen =P

The term 'exploiting' is short for 'exploiting an unintended bug or mechanic'.

Those guys are jerks for doing that. It calls into question every success they have because we know there are always bugs that can be exploited and we now *know* they are willing to exploit them.

    THANKS HAXUS.

and if it is bad news bears... i guess we'll just keep recording stuff.. and submitt it for the *** and giggles

Cue friends of Haxus to come in and dismiss and insult the group fighting the blatant exploiters.

Oh. Too late. Ahh.. The highschool cafeteria "elite" ESO scene. As the bad as the game may be at times, some segments of this community are an even bigger joke.

Honestly, I think they just found it and were curious about it lol. It's exactly like the rock by Ales. I ran in there once without realizing it was bugged and EP players said a lot of crap to me about exploiting and blah blah blah. Needless to say that rock almost never showed for me.

I largely respect Haxus. What I have real hate for is the laissez-faire attitude towards cheating and exploiting bugs in ESO. I'm sure you know as well as I do that this is a very widespread attitude.

This is why the in OP the question was ... bug or not ....

True finding bugs is a good way to help out the community and ZOS,

But it is up to ZOS TO FIX SAID BUGS?ISSUES ONCE FOUND
A bug report was submitted . all in all I believe both sides had a good time ....

"You know what I think I'm done for the night. Yeah this kinda spoils it all. I have no respect for these guys anymore."

I wonder how many countless nights your group has spoiled by spiking the ping to unplayable levels, or how many small group or solo player nights you've spoiled by 20v1ing them.

I don't condone abusing game bugs like this, but I think it's funny to talk about losing respect for the 8-12 man (or however many haxus runs) when I'm sure that in many other situations, exploit free, they would wipe out your 2x or 3x larger group.

At least your zerg was so preoccupied trying to squeeze out the 1k total AP you would've gotten for killing them if you could that you weren't busy completely outnumbering the solo and small scale players trying to PvP.

Oh and I'm almost positive it's just an unloaded texture bug or something; the dolmen was appearing for all of you since you loaded in near it, but it wasn't appearing for them for some reason. Similar thing to the good old Ales rocks.

    Last i checked..
A( zerg) consisted of multiple groups of mindless monkeys 1 button spamming pugs..

Not a group of people going around doing dolmons and taking keeps and resources...

And usually that guild splits up to hit multiple fronts to raise kaos and taking keeps while dealing with forces 4 times their size..

Had this group not ran into the EP group how long would they have stayed there?
while using the (texture rendering glitch)

This post was not a ( Bann these exploiting Bla bla bla thread..)
It was the guild asking hey is this a bug/ glitch? or is it something else we need to look out for and record it incase we run into it again to support ZOS in fixing the issue.

Would you also say the same thing if it was the other way around? Or would you come up some lame DC exploiters BS and name and shame them all over the forums and reddit?

And the guy saying he just lost repect for this .... I bet he meant he lost respect for the fight .. not the opposeing guild/group of people...

Funny how you twist stuff to make other people look bad while you sit apon your throne of any group bigger than mine is a zerg..

    Very small minded

Oh and you'll love this That DC guild loves dukeing it out the that EP guild .. And they have a crap ton of respect for their abilities useing those numbers.

*sigh* And I quote, at exactly 19:22 "I have no respect for those guys anymore, I actually thought hektik was a good player-".

As for zergs/zerging? Justify it all you want. That solo player or group of 2 or 3 you just swarmed with 20 people to get 200 total AP off of? How about you tell them how small minded they are for just trying to play the game when they complain that they just got zerged down.

Don't get sucked into making this a discussion about zergs. That is not at all relevant.

@ZOS_BrianWheeler is this the gameplay you envision? This is what happens when you take an infinite tolerance policy towards exploiting. The best guiilds and players exploit shamelessly and become role models for others to follow.

This is pathetic. Can't people just play a game anymore? Whoever the players are exploiting the dolmen need to get some bans. It is 100% guaranteed not their first time and who knows what else they do to gain unfair advantages.

@Lord-Stien Based on the fact that they had 1 or more Viscious Death/Clever Alchemist Magicka Nightblades using Proxy+Soul Tether+Sap Essence you can tell it is something they plan. Find mindless zerg or small group, lure to dolmen, kill using unlimited insta-respawns/rez on spot .. If your group was a mindless zerg, you would have all wiped very quickly.

EDIT: @ZOS_GinaBruno surely the video posted has been reported to you already, right?

Its kinda really hard to cheat on a console..

Unless you are useing a custom Ghost OS with Network moding API's and such ..

PC's will always have this kind of problem... But you tend to want to be proactive when possible....( Really hard to do)
most times you will be reactive... the problems after that is being too reactive and useing a D9 bulldozer when all you needed was a knife..

@Lord-Stien it's definitely a loading bug, I've seen it happen before. Honestly, does it become an exploit if its not loaded for them? Idk. It's a hard area. I don't condone exploiting, but I've seen this happen many times before. Calling a whole guild out on "exploiting" when something has not loaded in for them is eh. Idk.

I am not surprised by this at all, ZoS should take some sort of action but they probably won't. This kind of stuff isn't new to these guys, they have exploited before... just sad because some of them don't really need to because they're good PvPers.

Oh well, my suggestion is next time it happens... make another video of it and send it to ZoS but just move on after a few minutes so it doesn't kill your night.

If true, then it's pretty clear that they were exploiting a bug. The legit play would be to move out of the dolmen, fight to the death and then respawn elsewhere. They chose not to.

But it's not like Zose will do anything about it other than lock/delete this thread.

Or your zerg can like, go engage a keep? You know, an actual objective or something? I'm glad Haxus made you waste 19 minutes of your life.

To clarify what is going on, it is a client-side loading issue, not an exploit. I've had it happen to me numerous times while I was farming for Lich gear.

Even if this client loading issue happened to randomly impact the entire Haxus group, it's still exploiting a bug. I am reasonably certain every member of Haxus is able to discern a properly rendered Dolmen. Each member was acutely aware of what they were doing.

The social mechanic at play here is elitism. It's okay to cheat against zergs/pugs/potatoes/noobs/pve players because they are lesser/evil/bad beings that may be abused. The process of objectification dehumanizes them. Anything goes.

Poor Haxus. Whilst out looking for "good fights" (surely against a comparable opponent like K-hole) they were brutally engaged by an evil, immoral zerg. They had no choice but to retreat to the safety of missing-to-them geometry in order to righteously defend themselves.

In reality, Haxus seeks groups like the one engaged in the video. 9/10 when I encounter a Haxus group, this is what they're doing. Looking for larger groups of less competitive players to farm/bait. No offense to the group in the video, but the fact is Haxus is among the best. Unfortunately, many top guilds in this game tend to avoid each other most of the time.

They were definitely doing it for the lols. Not to ap-farm or play competitive. How often will they get that opportunity again, with those numbers at a dolmen?
To counter it you could have gone and taken a keep which would have been free of haxus and a lot easier to take. That would have forced them out of there, not trying to siege it down and camp outside it.

But still, its a bug, and it should be fixed
