Stam sorc surge proc

I was having a look at this skill on my stam sorc who is currently lvl10. It states that it won't proc on damage over time abilities. Which is understandable, bleed and the dmg from caltrops would make you nigh unkillable. I was curious if flurry would proc the healing even though it is technically a dot.

LOL, do you speak from personal experience, or did you just pull this out of.... thin air? Because if "stam sorcs are near invincible", that's going to be big news to actual stam sorcs.

That's not why Surge doesn't proc on DOTs. The hidden cooldown on Surge heals insures that no Sorc is going to be "unkillable", regardless of which abilities (AOE, DOT or single target) causes it to proc. No... the reason DOTs were denied Surge heals was because SOME Sorcs complained that DOTs like Lightning Splash were "stealing" Surge heals from heavier spells like Crystal Frags, which was driving down HPS. However, that was back when the cooldown was 1 whole second. Since then, the Surge cooldown has been reduced greatly, all the way down to 1/10th of a second, if I recall correctly. There isn't really any good reason for Surge not to proc on DOTs now, but ZOS doesn't care about Sorcs, so they won't do anything about it.#CAREBEARMASTERRACE1 -
Stannum✭✭✭✭The problem is that surge heal has CD, so if it were procing on DoT sorcs were loosing healing (as DoT teak usually hits for a small amount of dmg and surge returns % of dmg done). Btw crit surge fits well to crit rush 2H skill.0 -
