Double xp cake: Active 1 weekend each month for ESO Plus members with capped CPs?

Last night, after 8pm, when I knew I couldn't reapply the still running cake bonus, I turned in a big quest with 5 seconds of cake left. Never ridden so hard before in this game. Between cake, a scroll, and enlightenment I got almost 110K cxp at the court of contempt. It was a lot of fun while it lasted. I'm not sure every weekend or even one a month is a good idea, but they must do this again once in a while.

Hmn, must check my other characters to see if the buff is still on any of them, the character above had the buff from the night before and I didn't log on until 10PM.

I found that the xp bonuses muck up the quest scaling until you are veteran level. The normal area questing becomes way to easy by level 20 even with the 10% member bonus. anything over this would really have a negative effect for me.

however as a veteran level character I would be all over that as those quests/areas level with you.

I never did apply the cake because I was 5 levels above what my quests were at 40th level.
