I love the idea of Inner Fire but....

It needs some love guys. The synergy is not very useful and really, just some love.

How about the synergy do a big AoE burn effect, or an AoE debuff of somekind, that would be a bit better. And maybe switch Inner Beast to Physical Damage instead of Magic?

Sort of a nitch request I know, but what are forums for?

I like to see more taunts in general, at least one class baseline spell have a morph that can become a Taunt.

    Templar - Sun Fire + Vampire's Bane.
Sorcerer - Daedric Curse + Velocious Curse
Nightblade - Mark Target + Piercing Mark
Dragon Knight - Stone Fist + Stone Giant

And make it stronger. I always seem to drop taunt using this. Not sure if it's due to a S+B DD though.

It needs to be stronger and it needs an awesome visual but one that "marks" the target until the Aggro changes that everyone can see. Basically I'm saying that this should be so strong that it would make a tank = dps at any level. So like a taunt single target dmg with an aoe effect for dmg if possible. If not just raise the dmg a lot and give it a cool down (PvE only change)

In doing so, it needs a visual indicator because this tells ppl if it's being used and when it falls off.
It allows it to be an effective Aggro tool and help group members assist the tank.

It should not be visible to non-group members
Since it's called inner fire...here is a photo example of what I mean

Look closer. Taunted enemies have a red aura on their heads.

Yeah but I'm not the artist...I'm giving a photo context to my suggestion.
The fire swirly is the reference and it would look bada$$ in the game if inner fire did some visual until the taunt dropped off for group members to see

I really wish Aggro in this game was somewhat easier to maintain in general.
I can never tell if an enemy is taunted or not because of how clusters mobs can get and that just leads to reapplying a taunt on an already taunted enemy.

As for inner fire, I never really use it unless the fight is highly ranged/mobility based, like Lord Warden. It doesn't feel all that useful outside of those fights because Puncture applies debuffs to the target whereas Inner Fire and its morphs only taunt and do a bit of damage. It needs a buff somewhere, and that applies to the entire Undaunted Skill line.

If you're on PC grab the addon S'rendarr Buffs, the Taunt effect will default to the left side of their name it looks like a metallic gray slanted shield icon. If you're on console, I'm sorry.

The radiate synergy needs to be stronger? It's pulling upwards of 30-40k from a single target explosion with end game gear and CP allocation, and will only get stronger with more CP. It recently got a flat 11% buff and an indirect 25% buff from Thaumaturge. This synergy is among the top 3 offensive synergies there are. Gravity Crush, Magicka Combustion, and Radiate are the strongest damaging syngeries in game and any more buff to them would be absurd (from a caster view point). They do however, need to buffing from a stamina user's stand point. None of them scale to the same letter as a caster would, putting the damage output much lower for builds such as my own (not to say they're useless, they're still worth while using as stam).

I'd much rather see a less used ability get the attention for something as you're suggestion, like Blood Altar marking all enemies within the radius that allows players to generate health or bonus damage while attacking them.

I rather it and the entire skill in general taunt 2 nearby enemies instead that way there is less spamming it and wont taunt the same enemy twice or three times in a narrow hallway.

There are fights where common tactics require a single target range taunt. So your suggestion would probably do more harm than good.

To be honest, I think the whole undaunted skill line (active part) needs rework. Except for Orbs everything is rather underwhelming.

It needs a major cost reduction if it is to stay as is. Truly though I'd prefer this skill become completely support based.

I'd like to see one or two of these on the ability even before adding the synergy

    - the armour debuff (both physical and magicka resistance) on one morph
    - add minor maim
    - Give back stamina when damaging marked target
    - Give back stamina when blocking attacks from marked target

here is the inherent problem with tanking aggro and general mechanics of this game. Taunts last for six seconds . if you taunt a second object the first taunt drops just so you know . you will never have multiple taunts running on two or three different mobs, the previous taunt will stay on you until DPS gains its interest. Aggro management and CC do not exist in this game it is short sighted lazy development. The group dynamics for tanks is just garbage. 90% of the encounters in this game require nothing but high AOE damage which requires you to run a magica build to perform the required dps mechanic.
