So was just talking with some friends tonight and came up with something fun, a new World Skill Line based on the Divines. Keep in mind this was for laughs, not like we beta tested this to see if anything was OP. In that spirit I just wanted to share what we came up with. It would be like the TG skill line (all passives). Each skill will have 2 levels. The first and second stages of each skill is unlocked by its own quest (20 in all), which is unlocked at level 25/50 respectably through a priest of the Divine who's trait you are trying to unlock. Unlocking them all will unlock a title (Holy Crusader) or something like that.
It would go: 1 quest to unlock the series, then 1 at 25 and 50 for each of the Eight (16), then once all 8 are done for their level a bonus one for Lorkhan will open (1 at 25 and 1 at 50 so 2 for him too). Once all are done where would be one final one to wrap it all up, so 20 in all.
Akatosh's Blessing - Increases Movement and weapon speed by 3/5%
Arkay's Balance - On stage 1, grants the ability/option to raise another player from the dead in exchange for 100% of the raiser's HP. Stage 2 reduces the penalty to 99% of the caster's HP.
Dibella's Art - Reduces research times by 5/10%. Also adds a bonus of 3/5% to healing skills.
Julianos' Logic - Marks with light at 20/30 meters Lore Books not yet obtained. Also adds a 3/5% boost to Magic damage.
Kynareth's Peace - Adds a bonus 3/5% regen to Health, Stamana and Magic.
Mara Love - Reduces the resource cost of all actions by 3/5%.
Stendarr's Strength - Reduce all incoming damage (Direct and DoT) by 3/5%.
Zenithar's Prosperity - Increases the yields of nodes by 50/100%.
Lorkhan's Spirit - Grants different effects at Stage 1 and Stage 2 based on armor type. The effects require all 7 pieces to be of that type.
Heavy Armor -
Stage 1 - Raises damage of Light Attacks damage equal to current HP (ie 100%HP = 100% bonus, 25%HP = 25% bonus).
Stage 2 - Heavy Attacks add a 10 second Taunt.
Medium Armor -
Stage 1 - Damaging Light attacks (must hit an enemy) grant 1 Ultimate every 2 seconds.
Stage 2 - Holding still while in 100% sneak mode grants Invisibility. Moving or drawing to attack will make you visible again and remove you from sneak fully.
Light Armor -
Stage 1 - Blocking incoming damage absorbs the resource used to attack (Stamina attack blocked absorbs the amount of stamina used to attack, same with magic). Note it does not absorb or in anyway stop the damage.
Stage 2 - Adds the following effects: 1.) Mana becomes the primary resource for Sprinting, followed by Stamina once Mana is used up. 2.) Falling damages MP first before HP, if the damage is more then both pools you will still die. 3.) Allows for walking, running or riding on top of water, doing so drains Mana at a a slow rate while walking, and a similar rate as stamina drain on a sprint while sprinting. If you run out of mana you will fall into the water like normal.
