AOE reliant gameplay is lazy, stupid and over-powered. I know the argument you refer to, but it amounts to fighting evil with evil. That is, leave it to the siege engins and make every other ability single target, so that at least a modicum of skill, like umm........I don't know ......... TARGETING SOMETHING is required.

Not really; vicious death allows smaller numbers to take out larger stacked numbers... But it is not like a weak version of no aoe caps... If vicious death didn't exist and no aoe caps did; if I bombed a group with my nightblade and kill just one.. I wouldn't wipe that group.. With vicious death you have that chance.

Are you really making a case for capless AoE using a solo bomber as an example? Because solo bombers are the big threat without caps??? If they remove caps and leave vicious death good groups will opt to run max dps builds...
Anyone that played DAoC understands why capless AoE kills games. All the people posting in favor of capless AoEs either want bomb heaven or are armchair quarterbacking a rodeo they haven't been to before. My guild bombed realm zergs in DAoC, bombed double warbands in warhammer, and if they remove caps in ESO, my guild mates will come back and we'll bomb here also.
It's not that I don't really, really love a capless system. Because I really, really do. It's that bomb heaven is where PvP games go to die.
