lel, stamblade is so much more survivable than magblade. Its just that bow doesn't necessarily translate well to that, once an opponent is engaging you in melee range its time to put pressure on them, try to create a gap, or escape, bow doesn't necessarily help with that
Magblade is just an aoe dps monster atm because det+vicious death are already stupid strong and work so well with cloak. They are still super squishy, basically anyone running a cloak counter will wreck an equally skilled, or sometimes more skilled magblade.
Stamblade on the other hand, benefits from being able to run shuffle, for snare immunity, dodge roll as an active defense, and still have cloak for times when pressure gets too high. Also, since light attack + surprise attack +bash with s/b is still crazy good dps, you can also run reflect without sacrificing much burst at all or jeopardizing your stam pool.
Magblade is fotm, but stamblade is still VERY strong and unlikely to get rekt by nerfs, since everyone with a brain can see det+vd is so broken and complete trash.
Both run fear that gives maim and both can benefit from shadow image for positioning and a longer, single target, 100% uptime, maim debuff
Edit: I just saw you want to run dw/bow. This gives you access to quick cloak, which is one of the best buffs in the game in the current AoE burst era for pvp.
Pvp and pve are entirely different scenarios, but everyone on these forums seems to think the only zone in the game is cyrodiil, and the only enemies you'll ever face are other players.
Stamina nightblade can have pretty formidable survivability in pve, but you cant run bow - it needs to be 2h as your go to weapon. Without the heal from Rally, you'll never be able to survive soloing bosses. I'd suggest going 2h + bow, or 2h + shield possibly, depending on the boss you're fighting.
