To quest,or not to quest

That is my question.
How many of you take a break from questing and just do other stuff for a few days or longer. I mean, there is no time limit on when we do quests,or any level requirements, other than that we can do them successfully.
I love just fishing for a couple of days,or mixing it up with trove hunting or chest hunting.
Or simply go Mat gathering for a while.Meaning a few days. With no other goal than that. No feeling like you have to get to the next level or the next quest.
I know I'm not the only one who has side hobbies.
ESO is filled with so much to occupy us.
What are yours? :)

    That is your question indeed.

I still have a *** ton of quests left undone all over the place myself, and I haven't even BEGUN to do Cadwell's Gold yet.

Fishing is my go to change of pace, even though I already have the title on my main.

Other than that, I sometimes head off to PvPland for a bit. Seems I only do this when I suddenly think I'm better than I actually am. Thanks to all of my Yellow and Blue "friends" out there...I usually get my ego shrunk back down to size in no time. ;)

I've finished all of DC, all of AD all of silver and 80% of gold, 50% of Craglorn, 90% of Orsinium and 10% of IC on my main
I've done all of DC again on another alt and so.....id say at least do the quests that give either skill, dyes or titles once.

But break it up and take ur time to just enjoy the game, NPC dialogue, weird bugs and odd ppl behaviors.

If on console...eavesdrop or run some randoms
Grab a trial day then...back to questing

resource node loop runs are hypnotizing and relaxing.

    This^

Mix in a little fishing and looking for chests, especially in Hew's Bane, which is beautiful. The sounds alone are better than any relaxation tracks I have in my music collection.

Then I come to the forums and find out the sky is falling....apparently.

I do like Farming but really my go to activity when not questing or doing writs or dailies is to either go grind public dungeons or just run around the world, usually in the leveling zones on a Vet and just throw out a spell or two to help some player as I run by.

Or I chase an achievement that I need like the Dolmen related ones or Monster Hunter. But that is a Public Dungeon grind in a different setting.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I have to change it up. I can quest for a while, or farm mats, or work on leveling one of my keeper alts, chase achievements, whatever. But I can't do any one thing for ages anymore. Tried fishing, I got super bored. I have a couple of new people I am working with a little bit too.

After reaching VR1 on my latest character I went farming for Sky Shards, Public Dungeons, and Delves first skipping everything else along the way. Get all those skill points out of the way so I'm not waiting on getting points filled out when I go back to questing. During the whole exp bonus week I been doing random group dungeons and farming dolmens. By the time I get back to questing, I have every zone from VR1 to VR10 all mapped out. Currently that character is VR9 before I started the VR1 quests, which means I should hit VR16 before Cadwell's Silver is completed.
