Character is glitched and cannot join groups or activity finder -- please help.

Hi All,
I have a Vet 12 character that is stuck in a nonexistent group and I cannot join any other group or activity, nor can I leave this group — the code has somehow glitched. It is only for this character, my other Vet16 character is fine, so it is not something that is account wide, — it glitched when I was trying to do a random activity finder for the daily dungeon, and thinks I’m still somehow in a group (though none show up, I can’t invite anyone, and anyone who invites me to a group, it says I’m already in a group, and I cannot leave it).
I've created a ticket and pleaded with ESO for help, but all their suggestions don't work (hard reset, delete Xbox game saves). Has anyone had this problem and can anyone suggest a fix. I would be forever grateful, as I hate to lose the 100s of hours I've put into this character.

✭✭✭✭✭I have had this before, and it went away after a couple of logins. It has also happened to people I have grouped with, and it goes away after a while too.
Things to try in the mean time, change your Dungeon Mode (this can reset the Group Process) try to add a friend manually through the Group Window not by Inviting, but typing in the name (this might be different on the console). Basically, your trying to have some activity around a group to reset things.
Also, make sure you are still not qued for a Dungeon, that could be why the game thinks you are in a group.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

BostonTroy✭✭It's still not working for me -- I've tried everything -- dying in dungeons, porting into dungeons/cyrodill, etc.
Tried to add friends through the group window typing -- still thinks I'm in a group, and I can't leave the imaginary group or join any other group, nor can I invite anyone to group, as it says I'm not the leader.
So frustrating -- it has basically broken my high level character and ESO help is not doing anything other than giving me cookie cutter suggestions that don't work.
If anyone has a real way to fix this, please let me know.0
