Plans to display Charactor name instead of GT (Xbox)

I've seen it mentioned on a few threads, but no difinitive answer - is there a plan / timeframes to show Toon names instead of GT on Xbox?

    Yes there are plans to do so. Consoles in general not just 1 or the other lol

    If there is a incremental patch we can expect it with I do not recall it. All I know is Zenimax stated it is being worked on tossing into the game.

    As far as I know, timeframes have not been announced. But if I were to guess, I would say Update 10 (Dark Brotherhood).

    Unless you use the game pad beta, then you get the console ui. I understand exactly where the console users are coming from. It's particularly annoying on PC because you can only see the gamer tag on certain ui elements like the party info and name section over another players head, but you only get character names on others - like the text box.

    Lol, when in a dungeon I never know exactly who is talking at first due to the naming mismatch.

    not true....in the gamepad UI on PC it shows the account name (same as consoles GT)
    It would seem as the year ahead article remarks that the Character name plate addition is not only for consoles but particularly the gamepad UI all together.
