why do people feel the need to ruin things ?

I don't know why people have to go to the forum and say this out loud. cant you keep your mouth sealed? no you cant "i have to go and post this at the forum for no particular reason"

im sure the community managers are telling the higher ups about it right now so they can remove it. soon a CM will come to post something about it thanks to loud mouth here..

Because of a post 10 minutes ago, I checked again with right-click on the buff to switch off the buff, kill a bear, re-activate the buff, kill a bear again.
And the XP was doubled... so it works for EU / PC.

Why making it public ?

Because there are people that work during the day and do not play every evening ESO and have to plan gaming with their private life.
And knowing ahead the buff still works is the info they need.
That's why I posted the info early this morning (in EU).

The cake should just be the norm for XP from now on. Double XP is actually worth grinding for, It really does feel like the reward reflects what we did for it.

You are right my boost had expired thats why I wasnt seeing the additional bonus. That being said do you guys really think ZOS doesnt know the cake still works? That somehow they would need a forum post to tell them? I doubt it. More likely they left it like this on purpose.

What if they remove the cake buff...but the double exp bonus will just be the standard exp gain from here on out?

In all fairness I just assumed they'd accidentally leave the buff active. I hadn't noticed that it was as at the last minute I re-upped the buff on all of my characters.

They also do not need to take the servers down to turn off the XP boost from the cake. That kind of thing doesnt require maintenance.
