Because in this way it's not an adavantage on earning cps compared to non ESO Plus members. So people can't say: "(cry, cry) it's P2W!!!"

One weekend each month (48hr - 72hrs), and every sub-player can use it, and with any character!

There's research that shows how this all works, except the research was done with income rather than... xp cake. The research showed that, no matter how much money people made, people reported the same amount of happiness as people that made about 44,000 dollars; 100k? 500k? 2 million? Same happiness. What's worse is that these people who made millions of dollars still complained they were experiencing hardship.
In the case of the cake, it could encourage a couple of things; people could begin to expect ZOS to buckle more and more often under pressure for what they want, and people can become resentful when they aren't given what they want. It can easily turn into a psychological slippery slope. We're driven to push things to the limit and always want moreeeeee, but it shouldn't always be that way. It's important for us to choose wisely in what we ask for, and having control of ones desires is no smaller matter. Just take a look at the implications of the stanford marshmallow experiment.
What would be better is to add content that people find rewarding at all times, or to just understand that some of the best stimuli you can receive is that which takes hard work. Seriously. You make it any easier and the value goes POOF.Bosmer Melee Magicka Nightblade4 -

48h cooldown (helps players with little time to catch up)
20% xp Bonus, but multiplicative.
Also, make the ESO+ 10% Bonus multiplicative.
This way other +xp items are more beneficial while using the cake and/or having a sub.0 -

I think the main idea of cake being in the game and not just once a year is a good one. Think we all had so much fun, and it would be cool to keep it in the game and nt just once a year. But its also important to balance it.
I like the idea that its a benefit for ESO plus, but at the same time many friends would not be able to use, which would make it not as fun!! I think the biggest part of the fun was being able to share the cake experience with friends in the game, and that would be missed from the ESO plus only concept.
I do not like the 'capped CP' idea. Had I read that properly I would not have voted yes.
Either way, I think Cake was great. It allowed a lot of players to 'catch up', and I think its a lovely idea to oocasionally being this back over a weekend now and again.Edited by MacCait on April 13, 2016 4:07PM0 -

✭✭✭No, ESO Plus members have already too many adavantages.It's not that I believe that ESO+ members have too many advantages, just that I don't see the point of getting more chances at the cake buff. It was a nice little event and I hope that ZOS continues with them, however, giving it out constantly takes away from it being special.
Also, why would it only be for people with capped CP? What purpose would that serve exactly? They are the last people that need the cake buff, unless they're altoholics that have 8 characters of varying levels but even that wouldn't aid them all that much considering that VRs are being removed "supposedly" with Dark Brotherhood so that's 16 levels they no longer have to deal with and getting to 50 takes half a day if you grind properly.Argonian forever1 -
