Alliance points off killed enemy players

Ok so I noticed I get 300 for some and then 1400 from others.How does this scale? Is it if you don't die, your worth more ap?
Edit- also how does rearward for the worthy work

    I thought it was based on how much damage you dealt on them, I might be wrong.

    No cuz I've rolled with one other guy and we both got same ap and experience from each guy.And we killed many with each player having a huge variety in amount earned

    Players that recently died give less AP, v16 = 1.800 or so. Lower levels also give less. AP is split between group members (even if you don't do damage or heal), the scaling favours groups of up to 6, if I'm correct.

    Rewards of the Worthy are automatically mailed to you; at v16, it's approximately 20k AP that you need for one.

    iirc there's roughly a ~2.5 minute refresh time from a recently killed enemy for max AP.
