Many companies does not care about anniversaries. I'm grateful that Zenimax gave us this event that would greatly benefit our leveling progress.
The whole "stacking" issue was understandbly frustrating for a lot of players, but they gave us an additional day to compensate, so they acknowledged the issue.
Overall, I think the anniversary event went quite well, and I'm grateful for it.
Let's say I had a job and told my employer that I would work for one week. I didn't do the job as instructed for the first two days so I promised to make it up and work two extra days. On the last day I tell my boss, "I need to leave and do some maintenance at home, sorry". Or since this was a free event sub in volunteer work instead of a paying job.
I work for a large museum and that pretty much describes our volunteer interns.

once you hit about level 20 you really shouldn't be getting much xp out of the first zone.
The people who spent their crows on scrolls DID NOT get refunded.

Then I log on to play while I still have a little time before I go to work and what do I find....THE LAST DAY THAT THE CAKE WILL GIVE ME EXTRA XP, THE SERVER IS SHUT DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE!!!!!!! WTF is that all about? Why wouldn't you wait until the next day to pull maintenance, why would you cut me short on the opportunity to earn extra XP???? *** poor decision

Im not even done with the first zone and im level 30. I stopped getting xp from mobs a long time before I hit 30. I dont know I liked how it was before when you needed to do either some grinding or all the quests in each zone as you level.

Just do the skill point quests and get to the right zone quicker. I'm level 44 in the last zone before Cold Harbor. Destinations will help you figure out which quests to do. Just enable Cadwell Silver quest tracker.

No one was saying anything about people who lost scrolls shouldn't get refunded. Just saying it's a bummer that on the very last day of the event.. the server is shut down, and now looks like it will be "early afternoon" before it comes back up. Are you over joyed at this? No? Then why are you upset that there are people who are also not "thrilled" about the shut down on the last day of cake?
Read your OP again, you were saying more than "its a bummer" you were cap spamming and swearing like a spoiled brat.

Count yourself lucky there was a whole week of it anyway.
The people who spent on scrolls got refunded, those of us who didnt have had extra days of 100% xp and you people are now moaning?
There are a few words for people like you but im afraid i'll get banned.
The cake was for a celebration of two years with ESO, stop complaining, non of us had to spend money to buy the cake.
