I got an email on Friday saying the elven one was available until Monday 11th. I didn't even see the outfit :I Did anyone buy it? How did it look? How much was it? I'm in poor health and having tests done, so not been checking my mail everyday. Seems a bit of a short time frame if it was only available for one weekend...

It was 2000 crowns, horrible hood and it makes your character look fat like a barrel - not worth a buy.

I'm actually glad to hear that! Waited 2 years for that damn thing. Relieved and disappointed it wasn't very well designed :/

And it came with crappy breast implants as well - bloated boobs and bloated waist line, while hips got small like those of a man. Really not worth it.

2k crowns, bought it, the legs of the armor are not the same but overall I like it.

I got it, and not disappointed in the least. Yeah the hood was meh, but the rest is fine. Not sure what other people are seeing, but I see non of what they are complaining about. The boobs actually look like boobs with cleavage, not a couple of ant hills to make it look different than the male chest.

I prefer to play with "Hide helmet" enabled regardless of what I'm wearing. I don't actually mind the Elven Hero costume though. A lot of the complaints I've heard are redundant to say the least. "I want to see the skin between the thighs like in the trailer". I mean really? Either way, that's what it looks like :p

Now try the simple altmer iron armor chest piece - and tell me that you do not look fat in this hero armor compared to the chest piece of a simple iron armor set. My tall and slender female looks great in that simple armor, but she looks like a barrel in the heroine armor - and this awful hood, rounded with too much air space in the cheek section, compare this to the slender hood of a simple altmer armor, which supports the elegant and slender, aristocratic look of an altmer and does not convert it into a pancake face like with the heroine armor. Nah, this armor is awful compared to what it could have been.

I like it. The only thing that makes it a bit bloated are those shoulder metal scales. But it's a very nice armour with lots of details, worth adding it to the collection. I'm sorry you missed it, I personally waited so long for this.

I like the armor but sadly my fluffy altmer looks plain frumpy in it. Much better modelled by my sleek breton.

How it looks really depends on the character wearing it. I think it looks pretty good on my characters. All eight of them.

I did notice that my smaller characters have slightly bigger breasts when wearing it, after people pointed it out. I only notice when I look at them from the front, it doesn't really look like there is any difference from the side.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I'm disappointed in the costume, it could've been better.

Funny because none of my Khajiit characters look "fat" or "frumpy" in it, they look the same. I like the fact the shoulder pads don't float 5 inches off my character like my Kena shoulder does, and the crotch flap doesn't float outwards like every other armor.

It might be that the effect comes from a rather large cleavage compared to other armor types, that it looks like bloated, especially on a character which already has wide shoulders like mine. But I made them intentionally with a B or C cup, dependent on their size and with the heroine armor it looks like D or even double D, what feels weird on a character, which should have a B or at most a C cup. When I am wearing the riding costume it is not even an A cup anymore - so weird.

Umm, I don't have much interest in the costumes but I hope you get better soon. Fingers crossed you'll be back in Tamriel in no time.
