I just mean, its basically like, "well we messed up. you all spent money on something we promised. It didnt work so here's an extension. Buuuut the servers are going to be down half the day on the last day of what was supposed to be the "we're sorry for the screw up." Just come one, you guys REALLY need to learn some better PR.

He was referring to the exp scrolls. But I talked to a guy who said he sold 5 of the cake vouchers for 10k each because I guess you can keep getting them. I don't agree with what he did but come on who is dumb enough to do that....

I'm not complaining but I did spend 3 scrolls or 600 crown on scrolls to find out they didn't stack...

and what good is the 2 days if one of them is during maintenance.. Not complaining again but just stating the facts... They gave us an extra 40 some hours but not 2 days... I work during the day so playing at night is when I get my time in anyway.... So the extra days will help a little..

When you buy a car that says it can go 150MPH and it ends up topping out at 130MPH aren't you not mad and upset? Would them saying o here let me throw in a pair of floor mats compensate for that?

I mean when it comes to money some people have a limited supply.... guessing you don't... and they want what they pay for... When I buy something because I was guaranteed it would do something I expect it to do something...

Now I don't feel bad for uninformed shoppers like those who bought the assistants to find out they only did personal bank (not guild) and sold (no repair)... That had been on the forms and website for at least a month prior to launch....

I personally don't understand why we're given only 1 weekend for an exp boost anyway. What harm could it possibly do to the experience of the game to allow for a boost to continue on especially for a week or more? Especially for those of us who do actually have alts to level.

Number one: many console players already played the pc version so we're not really missing any of the content by replaying it ad nauseum.

Number two: PVP isn't affected as anyone who is going to play pvp is boosted properly now and must level the pvp only lines in order to be competative anyways which takes time even with the boosts.

Number three: It's not going to adversely affect PVE because group content when successful requires people to be the same level and the dungeons you have in the game are all setup to bring people to the same level.

Exactly why can't this be a thing always especially for those of us who have at least 1 veteran rank character?

You win a free brand new 2016 car of your choice (you just have to pay taxes) and you get in it and it has 0 miles on it. You start it and it sounds great... You put it in drive and pull off the lot and as you pull onto the road the trany drops and the tires fall off. The company says o sorry no warranty but here take this used 1998 with 200k miles on it. Would you not be mad...

I know this is all hypothetical but this is how some feel... Yes the "car" or cake was free but it didn't work as advertised and when they spent real money they want to recoup that money.

I was not made aware that if you filed a ticket you would be reimburse for the scrolls uses.. My thought is now many dishonest people will be doing that and how will they know who did or didn't use the scrolls and how many did they use?

But even at 130 through a school zone you wouldn't see daylight for quite a while... and I know they have tvs in prison but I doubt they have ps4/xbox with ESO on them!!!

You have to be specific when you file your ticket. They have the logs and if you give them the information to help them find it you will have a better cs experience.

I got the cake when the store opened back up that night. I used the cake and used the scroll and noticed only one buff. I came to the forums where I saw the problem being talked about and I filled out an in game ticket describing the problem with date and time. Next morning I had in game mail with an apology and my scroll. This has been the way it has worked for me every time I have asked for something back.

Lol @Mcwoods55 I think we just need to agree to differ, to me a bonus is just that, a bonus. I'm super grateful for the XP boost however it comes i got something for nothing, sorry you feel short changed.

A guild mate had a scroll replaced to, he logged it on the day, clearly they have logs etc. Anyway, we've digressed the post enough, I'm even grateful that ESO is down for maintenance, it means things are being made better so maybe I just have a PMA outlook but I'm used to console games that are never updated after purchase.
