Why not include 8 (wo)man sized trials or scale the content to 8 (wo)man options.
Fits nicely between boring dungeons and hard to organise full fat trials (excluding trials guilds who have the numbers and capable players at the right time).

✭✭Hel'Ra, SO and normal MoL can all be done with 8 players or even less. In my opinion it's much more fun to do those trials with less people, since you then actually have to deal with mechanics and can't just stack and nuke everything.1 -

We get 1 dungeon or trial a year and your game crashing is the real final boss, dont expect a new composition anytime soon
Anyway, most of the Craglorn trials and Normal mol can be done with 8 people

Minimum for Hel'Ra is 6-7(literally can't do with <6 because the part after first boss won't trigger if <6 people go after the gate), although with that few someone will have to relog to get ported out and go to the right side.
Minimum for SO is argueably 4(I'm not entirely sure how you 4 man Serpent though...) but 6 competent people can pretty much faceroll it. I got my clear with 7 lol and it was way too easy.
AA has the undefeatable pad boss unfortunately which mean 12 and no less.1
