Ok. As of last week I only had one char a v16 sorc with 350 CPs. I remember how difficult things were the first time I ran them and I am a completionist so I never really had a need for another character.
However. I have become very tired of waiting for a party as a DPS so I created a Templar healer last week and went from lvl 1 to VR5 during the cake exp. I may even hit vr 6 before it ends tomorrow.
All I can say is wow... It is so much easier to fly through the content with an alt then it was with my primary char. I understand the thought behind this but at the same time I don't agree with it. It was so easy to do and took all the fun out of the character... The only thing that kept me leveling the templar was that I wanted the end game content without waiting for groups.
What was really funny is some of my friends with multiple vet 16s gained 15 CPs in 5 days (which is awesome!) but once I hit vr1 I gained 16 3/4 CPs in 4 hours because my enlightenment stacked up on my vr16 and I was on cake and exp scroll.
Sorry for the rant... but I guess my real concern is I know I will not get to vr 16 before brotherhood because there is no reason to... I mean once the dlc comes out I will technically be above a vr16 because of my CPs... I don't know if I like that or not.. To me I am putting the cart before the horse and considering obtaining my vr 16 gear because I will be able to put it on as soon as dlc lands... But I also know buying some of it later will be cheaper because new (hopefully better) gear will be out and I will want that.
What are your thoughts on the removal of vr level and never raising the level from 50 again?
What are you thoughts on characters sharing CPs?
Do you think they should find a balance between VR levels and CPs instead of removing one all together?
