Hello Everyone.
I just upgraded my computer about 6 years old.

I bought:

- Intel® LGA1151 Core i7-6700K
- ASUS LGA1151 ROG MAXIMUS VIII RANGER
- Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2133MHz 16GB
- Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler

..and I use my "old" Gtx 970 and currently run w7 64bit

This make the game run like a dream.
64 bit client runs extreemly good.

You can in pve sett everything on max. view distance all the way up etc.. 70++ Fps in large citys. 100 fps easy in not so crowded areas.

In cyrodil it also is very very good, but ping issue on EU server(trueflame) is ofc still broken.

the game is really broken at the moment in pvp so I am not gonna lie. If I fight in Major siegefight with loads of tomatoes, banana and smurfs fighting the fps drops alot.

Still if you turn off shaddows, view distance etc and tweak it you can have 20fps+ in the hardest fight where everyone clashes together.. big trains spamming aoe etc..

This game needs a good processor or you are screwed.
I recomend the I7-6700K 4ghz skylake processor alot! VERY VERY good.

    I spent 750 CDN, got a new gigabyte mobo, a 1150 socket i5 quad, 8x2 gb ddr4 ram and a new gtx oc 4gb 960.

No super cooling needed as the gfx card barely get hot even after several hours of play. Very queit machine. All settings max, all sliders to the right, pve enviroments at 70 fps, pve cities at 55 fps and pvp at 50 fps, at worst ive seens in pvp was 45 fps during large scale battles.

I mention this because the nvidia gtx 970 is over priced for its performance and you dont need an i7 to run the game amazingly.

Right, don't ask ZOS to fix their crappy programming. Instead, ask everyone to throw their own money at the problem!

$1000 bucks for 15 more fps with NO shadows and limited view distance! Sounds like a steal ...

Ignore the naysayers, OP. You're living the dream.

I live in Norway so everything cost alot.
Anyway, I installed windows 10 and fired up the 64bit client last night.... I have no words how smooth it was.

    Gonna test other games today.
    Cheers everyone.

I get 20 fps in hard fights anyway. I think any quad core processor and gtx *70/80 graphics card can manage that. The game just runs **** in PvP. A lot of players PC's are overspecced for ESO PvP.
