like now, its not profitable to gather glass parts into one anymore, because the price of the item for merge - 10k, more than actual price of complete part lol

and many other thing
why you do nothing about it?

There is no effective economy, only a severely restricted and distorted trading system that most cannot participate in at any one time.

They won't even fix the broken movement speed until next major update, let alone broken economy.

All the BoP gear from Wrothgar needs to be BoE, for one thing. Don't know why ZOS can't see how much better TG was for the economy, since it created a market for things like Vicious Death.

Devaluation of items is inevitable in MMOs. Additional, they add more items. The new items are more valuable and more desired. This also pushed down the value of the older items.

That's how an economy works. The "elitist greedy merchant guilds" sell items for the highest price people are willing to pay. Can you blame them? Unless people are willing to just not buy from those guilds until they lower prices then they'll keep doing it. Just like you're trying to find the lowest price, they're trying to get the highest. Both sides are equally greedy.

That being said you can hope ZoS makes more items BoE, but in the end I don't think they will. I think they see adding BoP items as a way to motivate people to buy DLC. It's a poor way of doing it in my opinion, but that is how I believe they see it.

Indeed. And then it is the trading guilds (three of them) in only ONE city (Rawl'kha, for AD, other factions probably have their own version).

The trade kiosk system has been a huge turn-off for so many players. ZOS must know this. Yet it persists. It's as if the trade kiosk system was some "suit's" baby and no one dare suggest it go away.

They need to, at least make Trinimac's valor, Briar and Pariah sets BoE. The amount of farm you need to get competitive drops is astonishing. Why people shouldn't profit from that ?

I've never had a problem with earning gold in ESO, just join a few Trade Guilds. I belong to five but really only utilize three, usually on one I make extremely quick sales, the other two are fast but not 'as' fast in sales. Grind and sell loot- make lots of money off training and intricate trait gear, mats, etc. People that complain about the economy are simply those who don't put a whole lot of effort into either farming mats or grinding for loot to sell... expecting to make millions off general quest or random drops is not going to finance your characters. ;)

Glass pages arent worth anything any more because all the people that wanted them have them. So until newer players get to the point where they will want them (if we have newer ones and if they do want them), there will be an oversupply greater than the demand for them and the prices will remain low. This happens with every motif in the game. As long as demand is high, prices stay high. When demand decreased so does price as people try to sell to the few that still want them.

The guild trader system is actually a very good idea, much better than the global auction house concept.

What ZOS did wrong was create a static one size fits all system. They tend to do that. They create a system, release it upon the world, and pretty much forget about it. Like many things in an MMO, guild traders need tuning and updating over time, and ZOS is apparently coming up with reasons to not do this. You can't just "set it and forget it".

Seems like the issue is that you're hoarding all the money making the "economy" terrible.

No true gold sinks,no true rarities. Kutas are most expensive crafting item per pc. Yet I see a lot of them for sale.supply and demand doesn't seem to apply in eso.

Then why in the "elitist greedy guilds" i find better prices than everywhere else?
More players more of the same stuff = Better prices
The day that i've dropped the Malachat Helms motif it was at 50k, almost an hour later there where already 2 at 48k and in the end i've sold it at 30k all this in one of the top tree traders guild in the eu server, not in the fancy friends traders...
Yesterday i was searching the crown of the Lich, i've searched in all the guilds and the average price was at 80-90k, then i've searched in the "elitist greedy guilds" and bought one at 30k...
