A judge and jury system that does what, exactly? I can't agree or disagree with something I know nothing about.

Good question. Forgot to put that. Judge/jury that never know the person. for helping within a guild. To save a pvp guild members. From getting kicked out unfairly. To hear both cases of the defendant and the plaintiff. Then hear the witness testimony also. To have a just and fair. You mean to keep people from being banned when they're reported and under scrutiny by ZoS? And how could they help within a guild without knowing the person...?

Too easily abused. No. Players are not involved in disciplinary decisions in this game because it is too easy to get friends to push a case for innocence when the charged player deserves to be banned.

I think this is strictly guild related.

If someone does something in a guild good/bad, you would wanna hear both sides of the story befor kicking/promoting anyone.

People may be getting kicked from guilds because a bunch of people start accusing someone.

This is already pretty much solved through pm's or VOIP.

This is more for the defence of the guild member against unfair GM's. When GM's get information that may be overexaggerated etc.

Example:

Member 1 calls you a bad word.

Member 2 goes to gm and claims you were being offensive and racist etc.

GM kicks member 1.

Member 1 ends up being someone who is very sarcastic and he just talks like that. No harm in his words.

This is where the "judge and jury" system comes in to place. You could have a vote if this player should be kicked. Or give the player a rating 1-10.

To prevent people being kicked for stupid reasons i guess.

A formal setting for guilds to take drama and discuss issues between members.

I like this feature because you can plead your case. A formal setting where everyone meets up and only the people involved have a say. Both sides will be heard and the GM can decide what to do.

Here's a story.

I once jumped into guild chat and asked my guilds pvp group if anyone wanted to dolmen farm. My GM lost it on me and shut me down because he claimed i was stealing his group members.

However people in VOIP lost it on the GM for shutting me down so hard when i was asking for help.

Various members got into a big argument with him. I was later kicked from the guild and never aloud back since.

Lots of people left this guild because of what the GM did that day.

This system would not help since it was the GM who was the one calling the shots. However many people would of supported me and kept me in the guild if possible.

You mean.. a guild officer? Or even better, MAKE a rank in your guild with appropiate name and have a RP trial! Yay!!!

I seriously don't know who would want to listen to all that drama. Let alone from all the factions...omg. There's enough in any given single guild.

Oh if it was just for gkicks, that's different. In my opinion, though, if your GM is unfair or being ridiculous, you should be happy to leave. I was unfairly kicked from VE when Bulbi had a meltdown once. I was upset, as were a lot of other people, but honestly my game experience has been leagues better since then once I found new guilds with better leadership, and created my own.
