Freckled Guar
Known in Deshaan as loyal pals, the Freckled is the most intelligent breed of guar. They can be taught to come when called, and a few have actually been house-trained! Not impressed? Then just look at that smile!
This adorable little guy can be adopted for 700 crowns.
Crown Motif: Mercenary
This enables crafting in the utilitarian and militaristic Mercenary style. As mercenary captain Gaspard Emery says, “With the rise of the Three Alliances and the return of general warfare across Tamriel, mercenary services are once again in high demand. The mercenaries are back!”
The Mercenary Motif is available now for 3000 crowns.

✭✭Will the style mats, laurals I think they're called, to make the merc style also be sold in the crown store? The Motif book comes with 10 Laurels, but you can't by them separately. And I love the Guar, too. I am deliberating weather or not I'm getting it. On one hand, it looks exactly like my guar plush, Eats-My-Burgers, minus the backpack. Meet my characters:Command: Do the thing.
Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.1 -

It's so cheap right now, like 1k in guild stores.
Although they are nerfing the drop rate significantly, so maybe it will be worth it in a couple months.1 -

✭With Monday's patch, ESO has the mimic stone which lets you make any of your known styles available in the crown store. They are also unbinding laurels, malachite and gold scale.0 -

✭✭Can we get Akaviri and Ancient Orc instead? ZOS said on ESO Live they want to wait "1 DLC cycle" before releasing motifs to the Crown Store and that time comes with TG.
Awaiting those styles with anticipation.

Exactly. Akiviri is going for 50-120k per page right now and while I've bought all the rest of the motifs(have 1 last glass page) If I knew that the akiviri motif was coming to the crown store soon, than I definitely won't start spending gold on the motifs as I'm unlikely to be able to make enough gold to buy them all before it's on the crown store.0 -

Thanks for the info, since I already have the entire merc style learned already, then I'm just waiting on the mimic stones then. ✭✭Anyone else notice that the motif is only 3,000 Crowns? All other rare (Dwemer, Imperial, Xivkyn, Glass) are 5,000 Crowns.
I've purchased all the pages from other players, but wish I had waited a few weeks longer. About 2 weeks after I purchased, when prices came down below 5K, I saw them creeping down under 2K. Now, even on XB, you can find the common ones (belts, boots, gloves, shoulders) for 1K or less. I think I spent around 50K for all my pages - not too bad, but to think that I could get it for 20K or less now...Edited by Jayne_Doe on March 4, 2016 7:25PM1 -

Because they know the market is flooded with them.
Markets pretty loaded with xivkyn too,at least in my trade guilds. But the charcoal seems too drop more so than the laurels.0 -
