Can anyone explain to me the following;
Uppercut and it's morphs are physical damage are considered a channel, which allows through ESO programming logic for the skill to be buffed by the champion point thamaturge and mighty.
Rapid Strike and its morphs are physical damage and considered a DOT/channel, which allows through ESO programming logic for the skill to be buffer by the champion point thamaturge and mighty.
If uppercuts crits and you have Crit Surge up you get a significant burst heal.
If any of the incremental hits from rapid strikes crit you get nothing.
These two skills are comparable single target direct damage skills; while Wrecking Blow is hands down better because of the hard CC and the empower skill wise they are roughly the same channel time and comparative damage if everything hits.
Why then does WB get a heal when and rapid strikes does not when all other conditions are the same or similar?
I'm asking because I'm honestly tired of 2H it seems like at every turn you are either directly or indirectly pushed to 2H and it's honestly kinda frustrating
